Not only am i still waiting for someone to accomplish that, i've yet to have anyone even make the attempt.

Also I would never say that all poor people are lazy, my point is only that the system subsidizes laziness.

also greed, rich people getting kick backs and rich companies getting free money from the government.
Many many issues up at the top.
Lets not even go with the banks and the bailout.
I love how its always against the poor, look at the rich and all the greed and the money they get and how they expect their children to get everything handed to them.
on we go
the middle class suffers always has always will

Today here is just another example of Republicans being nothing more than whores of Big Banker Interests, who prefer to keep sticking it to students any which way these greedy banking bastards can!!!
Senate Republicans Block Student Loan Bill
Senate Republicans on Wednesday blocked legislation aimed at letting people refinance their student loans at lower rates, a pre-ordained outcome that gave Democrats a fresh election-year talking point against the GOP.

Ok, you're right. I do judge you - but mostly on what's pretty obvious.
But in the context of my entire comment that you quoted, yeah, i'll own it.

LMAO!!!
Actually you come across as being as out of touch as that tea-bagging twit Eric Cantor who just had his sorry arse handed to him by another tea-bagging twit who is more bat shit crazy than Cantor!
Eric Cantor in true Republican cocky fashion outspent Dave Brat 40 to 1, about 5 million to Brat's less than 200,000 dollars and out of touch Cantor still lost!
A devastating defeat for the tea-bagging goof who was setting himself up to replace Johnny Boner! A shocked and despondent Cantor was heard whining, "What is the Republican party coming to when it can't buy an election anymore???"......

Please explain the statement, " The government begins to lose money, no problem, just pass it on to the tax payer".
I think you WAY overstate the notion that people in business are held accountable. Why don't we have a revolving door of CEO's at the major car companies every 3 months after another recall? It took months for the target CEO to resign, not get fired. To quote an analyst who thought the change should have happened earlier," I think it reflects the slow moving nature of that is inherent in target's culture". I still haven't heard of any heads rolling at Ebay after their recent security breach. Having spent 25 yrs in the business world, I'm inclined to believe the Hunter S. Thompson quote, " The truth is rarely told during the 9 to5 business hours".

All good points, drl.
What I meant was that if the government needs more money for things due to mismanagement it would result in higher taxes more often than not. But Doove also makes a good point in his response to my post.

So with that, i'll also agree with drluv in that i think you overstate the gap.
Call it a price increase and we all accept it as a normal part of living in a capitalistic society. But call it a tax increase, and sit back and watch the outrage. But the reality is, they're literally one and the same. And i would suggest that they both occur with the same regularity. So the idea that government can just raise taxes while businesses can't (raise prices) isn't something i'm inclined to buy into.

Thanks for the insight, Doove.
