Well said!
Well President Trump surely must get some credit for this turn of affairs, but I am thinking that the progressive liberal left has as had big a part or bigger than just President Trump.
The Democratic Party has gone all-in on every extreme policy , cause and movement foisted on American society by the progressive liberal leftists. Most of America, well the tax paying, work-a-da, voting slice of American society, just wants to make a living and have a life. The Me-Too movement showed us that most of truly egregiously bad actors were on the left.
Despite all the noise, the mostly violent riots in the name of George Floyd were were seen by working/voting Americans as not conducive to getting to work every day. We approached the tipping point when the progressive left took over the Democratic Party and enforced the extreme controls of everyone and everything during the Pandemic Hysteria.
Yet I think that the Democratic working voters had finally had it "up to
here" during the run-up to the elections in 2024 with President Biden staying in the race while all his handlers and the news folks saying that he was OK despite the evidence of our eyes and ears . . . .and then the Democratic power brokers just dumped him for the queen of word salad without. primary. . . .and she was worse. That was, I think, the last straw, the actual tipping point.
Along the way, the progressive dominated Democratic party alienated Joe Rogan, Elon Musk and Bill Mahar to name a few prominent or liberals. They and other celebrity news makers are just the tip f the iceberg though. Now it is the working voters that are abandoning the Democratic Party, either by declaring the they are a never-Trump-Republican like my brother-in-law or through induced political apathy.
Salty: Trump has played a great part in all of this, but it is the party too. It is not so much that voters have left the Democratic Party, I think that it is more that the Democratic Party has left them.
