On television Dilbert. 20 were invited to attend. I don’t think it was televised.

Is that a holdover from your not so distant potty training days, junior? When your Huggies had to be checked each morning?

I agree. That was never in doubt. The goal of such rallies though is to influence undecided voters to vote for Trump. Doubtful that happened either.

I also watched the rally. Trump spent more than 10 minutes explaining why he took so long walking down the ramp at West Point and using 2 hands to drink a glass of water. Once he focused on attacking Biden he became effective in getting a message across.

... Apparently, you lost the message in his story.

It's the same message when people make fun of the number of people who attended the rally after having spent days/weeks whining about how dangerous it is to attend the Rally and the Mayor of Tulsa zaps those waiting to get in with a curfew....and then the television audience is revealed.

You and yours spend your time criticizing Trump and trying to demoralize his support with your bullshit ...but NEVER (OR RARELY) saying anything positive about YOUR CANDIDATE! You and yours (LapDog!) are TRANSPARENT!

LapDog is the type of immature trash supporting Biden aka BITTEN! Afraid of books and statues.

I happen to think Trump's explanation for taking his time walking down to ramp was right on. No need to spend 10 minutes talking about it. I also think too much time is being spent on his statement that we should lower the level of coronavirus testing. It was a joke.

Here are the primary issues on the minds of voters and where I believe either Trump or Biden is better suited to enact legislation to better the country:

The economy -- advantage Trump.
Race relations -- advantage Biden.
Health care -- advantage Biden.
Immigration -- advantage Biden.
Foreign affairs -- advantage Biden.
Climate change -- advantage Biden.
Budget deficit -- advantage Biden.
LGBTQ rights -- advantage Biden.
Terrorism and national security -- even.
Tax reform that is equally fair to all -- advantage Biden.
Education -- advantage Biden.
Distribution of wealth -- advantage Biden.
Abortion -- depends on which side of the fence one stands
Gun policy -- see abortion.

Obviously I don't expect you or any other Trump supporter to agree with me but these are my OPINIONS.

Those are not equally weighted.

Good economy alone is enough for re-election.

Let's see if the "I" shape recovery happens.

Yes, that's why I said it wasn't a net positive for Trump. That did not denote a negative for Trump, just that I don't think he garnered the enthusiasm factor to have attracted any additional votes as a result.

As we've seen in this thread alone, the dialog of the whole event has now turned into some level of protectionism of Trump's PR screwup in touting the expected massive attendance.

The only positive being discussed is how much better Trump can do rallies than Biden.

It should have been a show of massive enthusiasm and a discussion of the Trump campaign message in order to attract the undecideds. It's proved to be neither.

Anyone planning on voting Trump will still continue to plan to vote Trump, but he didn't make a dent in recruiting any undecideds.

8 million watched the rally. Are you dismissing that? Plus people who watched on line. It’s my opinion that thousands of people show up in a closed arena during a pandemic and possible violence counts for something. And Comparing Trumps event to Biden’s last week is pertinent. They’re opponents. It does show a deep contrast. I did say the Trump campaign will have to rethink the rallies. People aren’t ready to gather in masses yet. Unless you’re a protester or looter. Did the Trump campaign miscalculate this? Yes. Is it some sort of black eye? No. BTW, how do you know Trump didn’t change any minds? That’s a Speedyesque statement. You don’t know. Neither do the pollls.
