Florida is a professional team, name one of their players that grew up in Fla. But hey, they’ve won two Cups so they’re popular down there. And yes, Soccer is more popular worldwide because it doesn’t cost much to field youth teams. I didn’t see any Hockey teams from Africa or the Caribbean in the Olympics!!!!

That’s 100% true. Ever have a kid who played hockey? It’s brutally expensive, often the main topic of conversation amongst parents attending their kids game. Many kids don’t play simply because their parents can’t afford it.
