So while I know you both would like to focus on anything other than Heggy's fuckups, that's where my focus will remain in this thread...
Its OK to admit he fucked up. No need to deflect or engage in whattaboutism.
I admitted he fucked up.
When people like you start screaming for his scalp, it throws the discussion open to exactly how much of a fuck-up is required for someone to lose his job. That's why I chimed in. If the bungled, disastrous 2021 Afghan pullout debacle wasn't reason enough for Biden to sack anyone, then this lame "Signalgate" scandal doesn't even come close.
More whattaboutiam. Trump fired The Mooch for less, so we know he's capable of it.
But I do appreciate you admitting that Heggy fucked up. If only he was man enough to own it and admit that to himself and the American people. He's not... and we've now seen it.

nonsense! it was someone else who included the The Atlantic editor not Hegseth. you know that. we all know that. so what's your point here? there was nothing useful in that group chat of any value even if The Atlantic gave it to the enemy. even The Atlantic wouldn't stoop that far even to fuck Trump if they could. but it would have been useless. a timeline with no locations or a date for the strike.
useless intel and a failed attempt of the usual TDS suspects.
The use of Signal itself was against DOD policy for that type of information. He is also responsible for verifying who he is communicating with when he communicates.
You're also forgetting about his separate chat with his wife and over a dozen others. He was sloppy and reckless. He remains sloppy and reckless.
While he has authority to declassify info, there has not been any evidence produced that he declassified that info before he put it on Signal, but we do know that it was taken from a classified doc.
Face the facts... he fucked up and is shirking accountability while it's one of his top priorities he's trying to push on others.
LEAK: Reports say Sen. Mark Kelly leaked classified portions of the Pentagon IG’s “Signalgate” findings while his party publicly attacked Hegseth. If true his actions would constitute a violation of the Espionage Act.
An internal Pentagon review determined that Pete Hegseth’s March 2025 sharing of Yemen strike information over Signal violated departmental rules but was not illegal due to his declassification authority. Sources now say Sen. Mark Kelly disclosed classified elements of that IG report to the Wall Street Journal while Democratic officials were publicly criticizing Hegseth. The reported leak raises questions about the treatment of sensitive oversight documents and the boundary between political messaging and classified material.
Biden, Milley and Austin didn’t take responsibility for Abbey Gate where soldiers died and many more injured.
The Abbey Gate bombing occurred on August 26, 2021, during the evacuation from Afghanistan, when a suicide bomber from ISIS-K detonated an explosive device at Kabul's Hamid Karzai International Airport, killing 13 U.S. service members and around 169 Afghan civilians. This tragic event highlighted the chaotic nature of the U.S. withdrawal and raised significant concerns about security and vetting processes for evacuees.
No one got hurt in your made up “scandal”. Hegseth is still there and isn’t leaving.
Huh? Where are you getting those alternative facts from? Got a link? How do "we all know that"?
In an article published in The Atlantic on Monday afternoon, Jeffrey Goldberg, the magazine's editor-in-chief, reported he was accidentally added to the Signal chat titled “Houthi PC small group” earlier this month by Mike Waltz, Trump's national security advisor.
Correct, Heggy didn't invite him. He just shared classified info with him after failing to do his job and using an app his own department cautioned against using

an app that the Biden Admin recommended. you recall that yes?
Biden-era guidance encouraged use of Signal app by highly-targeted govt officials: 'Best practice'
'Adopt a free messaging application for secure communications that guarantees end-to-end encryption, such as Signal or similar apps,' 2024 CISA guidance reads
and if Hegseth didn't invite the editor and wasn't aware he was online in the chat how exactly did he fail to do his job?
i can't wait for your reply!!!!
the so-called classified info was useless. just a proposed timeline without dates or locations.
it's amusing you are continuing to keep cooking this nothing burger..
You can try to blame Waltz, but I know when I send a message to a chain that contains sensitive info I verify who's on it and remove whomever I don't know.
