Please cite the statute under which the Speaker of the House can reject (aka override) the President. Bonus points if you can do it in a location where the President has SOLE control and responsibility... Thine Führer is going after blue states and everyone knows it. Can't wait to hear the cult protest when Newsom does the same to LA, TN, FL and other crime ridden RED states.

LOL! You really are trying to poke the bear. Guess you got tired of yelling the lie ad naseum.
The bias and credibility on both those sites are in the toilet. Could not believe pundit beat revolver with "very low credibility".

I just posted the reality, the decision to, or not to, deploy the NG on J6 rested on the shoulders of the Felon in Chief. If you believe those two propaganda sites over the source...you might be in a cult.

The Trumpys can’t understand facts. Just what they get from Revolver and Townhall. Actual facts are something they can’t comprehend.

I am all for making DC safer (even though per Trump in May violent crimes in DC were down 25%) in ways that will make it last rather than ways that are just for show and ineffective.

Those are the areas where people congregate the most. Tourist for instance go to areas where they can take pictures and take in the sights. They don't go to the shady areas of town where the hoodlums are.

What was the event that caused the need for the National Guard to be called out at this time ?
Will the National Guard go back to their bases after being called out for 30 days ? If so, what is the point of this ?

That’s also not where the crime emergency is so there’s no reducing crime in those areas. No one is shooting up or mugging a bunch of tourists at the national mall. Nor are criminals jacking cars in downtown DC. Especially not in Georgetown. I lived their for years, we all knew where the crime was, including tourists. Southeast DC is where the problem is.
As I stated, putting Humvees on the national mall and guys with M16s standing around there in fatigues isn’t stopping any crime. It’s just performance.

The usual suspects here remain ignorant. Multiple arrests and weapons taken off the streets just on night one. And once again, despite the lies of the left, the citizens there WELCOME this crackdown on crime. News flash. Real Americans don't like crime infesting their neighborhoods. Let the left continue melting down...

That's the whole scheme of things. They aren't interested in reducing crime. They just want people to think they are. The criminals in DC are members of your government. The little street thugs in DC are killing each other off that's what Government officials really want.

383 arrested so far.
Charges include DUIs, drug offenses, assaults and destruction of property, among others. U.S. Attorney for D.C. Jeanine Pirro said all agencies seized 21 illegal firearms.

... Why not link the article that I cited for ALL to read?
Link it right here.
You're NOT afraid to do that - are you, mate?
Hmmmm... Of course you'd surely need to READ it first...
... What could be MORE fair than that?? ...
... But, President Trump's current Nat'nl Guard are
no doubt doing the job - keeping people safe. ...
... WINNING! ...

And just for the REALLY dense...the National Guard has made no arrests. And...wait for it, the number of arrests compared to last year under Biden without all the federal agents and the cost to taxpayers:
The nearly 400 arrests last week include 137 people arrested over the weekend, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi said in a post on X Monday morning. And they also include 164 immigration arrests, the White House told WUSA9.
So, over 40% of the arrests were for immigration violations.
Contrasted with last year under Biden:
Over the same period last year, between Aug. 7 and 17, 2024, MPD arrested 606 people, records show. None of those are immigration arrests, because until last week, MPD was not allowed to make any.
Losing like only a fat, idiot who can't even run a casino can!!
