I find this passage from a David Brooks article relevant to the topic.
George Orwell is a useful guide to what we’re witnessing. It’s as if you started this thread with the sole intention of getting people to tell you of their anger and frustration with the actions of the new administration, then dismissing all of their concerns with a statement that they must be crazy, TDS, TDS, Orange Man Bad, TDS, TDS, then basically telling them to “quit your bitching and take your medicine”.
