there was nothing improper disclosed. everyone seems to ignore the issue here, that apparently Waltz (or he's covering for a staffer) accidentally invited someone, the editor at The Atlantic to the session. other than that, everyone in the session was authorized to it.
the conversation was secure. signal is not an unsecured app. signal does encrypt data and the app was not hacked. the data the The Atlantic posted is not enough for any foreign entity to make use of it, even if The Atlantic gave it to some foreign entity.
the only data was timelines without actual dates, and no locations/targets. not enough to compromise the mission in any way.
