I should note there is a fly in this.

there are a number of states that allow for proportional electoral votes as a result of the states popular vote. there can be split votes in some states besides Nebraska and Maine which are decided by district votes. don't know which ones are those.

the map calculator doesn't address this. none of them do that I'm aware of.

it appears that 48 states are on the "winner take all" system.

Interesting, thanks Dilbert. Yeah, that would have been great, if Johnson's electors had been the kingmakers. I'm kind of confused why the electoral percentages using that method don't more closely match the popular vote percentages. Maybe rounding?
