This may be urban legend but supposedly kids in their 20’s in Austin were having COVID parties - get a lot of people together and try to catch it so you can get it over with. That’s what it looks like now based on the video footage in Tulsa outside the BOK center. Only about half the people are middle aged and overweight. Maybe one out of 20 is wearing a mask. Social distancing? Not for this group. They’re standing around almost shoulder to shoulder.

They could have put the 20,000 people who will attend this event into an outdoor stadium with plenty of room for social distancing. And pushed attendees to wear masks. But no. That would contradict the fairy tale that this epidemic is dying out.

I wonder if more people will die from this event than the BLM protests in, say, Minneapolis or Atlanta. Probably the BLM demonstrations but it’s hard to say. The protestors are younger and fitter and they wear masks, although they will be passing the disease onto parents and grandparents. Also you’re less likely to catch the coronavirus if you’re running around throwing bricks and Molotov cocktails, instead of sitting together in a packed indoor stadium.

There was some Trumptard event coordinator on TV awhile ago...he said anyone with a temperature will not be let in. So the place will be empty.

I can understand your optimism concerning Trump and his rallies. With a drop since the end of March of 10+ points in approval ratings, Trump needs ANYTHING to turn the negatives into positives.

What is the over/under for lies/factual errors that Trump will make tonight? I would say 5 but could be closer to 10. The Fact Checks will be interesting.

Just watch tonight. I really don’t care what the polls say today. As a matter of fact, you even said they don’t mean much. You mentioned betting parlors. The biggest betting parlor is Wall Street. There’s been a huge recovery. They aren’t betting on a Biden Administration. They’re betting on low taxes, low regulations and better trade deals. Not. high taxes, high regulations and the Green new deal.
