Globespotter...Please

  • #22 - ECCIE Staff will go to great lengths to avoid editing, deleting, or censoring our members posts or threads...unless absolutely necessary. Forbidden topics such as underage sex, illicit drugs, bestiality, revealing personal info, medical speculation, or images not in compliance will be removed from public view. Controversial, troublesome, or objectionable posts may draw staff attention or in some cases disciplinary action, but the offending post will not be removed from the view of our membership in any but the most extreme cases. Often times you will find directions, footnotes, or other guidance from staff edited INTO posts which draw our attention. These are for the purpose of educating the readers of what is and what is not acceptable as well as informing others about how these issues have been dealt with. Members are encouraged to RTM posts which include rule infractions or objectionable material if it appears that staff has not already becomed involved with the thread or post in particular.

Technology also ruined the sport of auto racing.

What's the point of racing a car, if you can't go as fast as you could go ? Pit stops are also ridiculous.
They should give everyone the same amount of time for a pit stop, not make it competitive.

Technology has really benefited - video games. That industry is bigger than whole sections of the entertainment industry such as movies. And the games are fantastic.

VM technology has given everyone an opportunity to do better thus increasing the competition level. However, individual ingenuity is still required....to give you an example if you ever play or played at the king wood country club or at the Galveston public course, there are two holes where the putts will not go straight, but you have to study the grains and have to use a parabolic line or an inverse U to complete the putt accurately...so individual talent still stays...quite a bit...

That's exactly what I am talking about. The game is being reduced to a putting contest on
treacherous greens.

Gee, here is an article on msn. They rank the greatest albums of all time. Where did
they get the information from.........wikipedia.

To crown the best albums of all time, PrettyFamous, an entertainment data site by Graphiq, ranked all of the albums in its database by Album Score — a customized statistic out of 100 that aggregates album ratings from external sources, including AllMusic, Metacritic, Rolling Stone, Pitchfork and many more. From the ranked albums, only those with a score greater than or equal to 95 were included. It should be noted that these ratings are pulled from an album's Wikipedia page, so in the event that an album does not have a page, or its page does not have ratings, it will not appear on this list.
