A person would not "become" asymptomatic as a ebola patient starting to show signs. If an ebola patient "became" asymptomatic then they would either be healed or be dead. Why can you not comprehend this?
Are you confused on the definition of "become"? Allow me to explain: An ebola patient would
begin as asymptomatic. Then they would
"become asymptomatic" again when they are healed.
The phrase originally used was:

My statement was that if he had become asymptomatic at that point then he would have been healed.

I guess I could have included 'ebola' between "A" and "patient" in that second sentence but I must have thought the subject being discuss was already the topic of this thread and the topic of the statement specifically: ebola! So I left it out. My mistake.
Happy now?
