So let me ask the million dollar question. How many of you idiots will take the Ebola vaccines when they come out with it, and you know they are.

Hold on to your hat. There will be new cases popping up all over. It will produce mass hysteria, then they will roll out the vaccine which hasn't been studied or tested. Most likely will pose more of a health threat than the disease itself.

Given that, you moronic buffoon, what is the US govt's responsibility if say 50 Mexican day laborers with Ebola come into Texas to work on your house(s)? Remember, you are an open border guy (and a moronic buffoon)!

They can be asymptomatic during the incubation period, and not healed!!!!

A person would not "become" asymptomatic as a ebola patient starting to show signs. If an ebola patient "became" asymptomatic then they would either be healed or be dead. Why can you not comprehend this?

Are you confused on the definition of "become"? Allow me to explain: An ebola patient would begin as asymptomatic. Then they would "become asymptomatic" again when they are healed.

The phrase originally used was:

My statement was that if he had become asymptomatic at that point then he would have been healed.

I guess I could have included 'ebola' between "A" and "patient" in that second sentence but I must have thought the subject being discuss was already the topic of this thread and the topic of the statement specifically: ebola! So I left it out. My mistake.

Happy now?

Class dismissed.

As with Ebola and any other disease a person can have the pathogen but not have the outward symptoms of the disease until later. Generally a person may not even be contagious until they become symptomatic, showing the expected symptoms of a diagnosed or suspected disease. Someone who is asymptomatic is only free of symptoms it doesn't mean they are free of the disease.

Yes, I am sticking up for THN because she knows what she's talking about regarding this subject.

I have no doubt she does a good job with her clients and that you think WK'ing for her will be worth your effort. I also feel that nurses in general do great work for our society, I respect her for that, and I truly feel bad for the nurse at Presby who got infected taking care of what should have been some other country's problem.
However, I don't care for her attitude exemplified by her snide little "class dismissed".
