That is really punishing them.

Again, they lost their jobs, as they should have. The Kansas chapter of Young Republicans was deactivated. What more do you want?

These folks might lose a job today but they will be right back in republican politics next week, working in the Republican Party and maybe even soon hanging in the White House, since Vance thinks this should not ruin them.
The Republican Party is OK with racism. They do some faux whining about racists but embrace them for their vote in every election

OK, thanks for the more substantive reply. I can now see where you're coming from. Yeah, Vance is a different breed from the Republicans that I admire.
The people in that chat group were extremists. I don't think they'll be right back in Republican politics, nor do I believe the Republican Party is OK with racism.

And you'll never believe it because no matter how many examples of it come to light you simply don't want to believe it. That is typical of white people though. Every example of white folks being racists are "extremists", even when it continues to happen. Oddly, it is just white republicans where it keeps coming up, keeps happening, keeps repeating itself. Well, not oddly, typical, but of course, you cannot (actually will not) admit to it.

FBI agents, posing as contractors, met with a business associate who connected them to Homan, and Homan himself indicated he would be willing to secure government contracts in exchange for money.
On Sept. 20, 2024, according to news outlets, agents used a hidden camera to record Homan taking $50,000 in cash that was reportedly placed in a bag from the food chain Cava.
They may not have had the direct evidence to convict him of bribery but anyone who takes away a fast food bag with 50,000 in cash for an exchange of future government contracts is not someone who should be working in government.

I also don’t believe that the Republican party is OK with racism I would say that given age and other demographic trends, ie. republicans tend to be older and whiter than democrats, that the republican party has more racist members than the democratic party does.

Vance says he will tell his kids not to put that stuff on the internet because someone might leak it. I tell me kids that is not acceptable language or thoughts and try to teach them better. That is the difference between someone like him and someone like me.

Kids will be kids. Love how the VP tried to use that old fatherly way to 'splain things away. Problem is that alot of them are old enough to have their own kids and grandkids.
Guess Vance should have used the example of the grandfather that embarasses people with non-filtered senile ramblings. Opps. He reserves the right to not to use that angle since he doesn't say anything about his boss either.

So, you saying that they all castrated themselves and didn't reproduce. Wish a few select maggies parents would have practiced some type of less extreme birth control.
They sure weren't backing LBJ and haven't been seen in the fold since.

Ima sure they tended to fragment.
But quite a few of them were seen poking their heads with the righties.

Ah! I was nice enough to give you a freebie. You are long overdue on your quid pro quo to shut me up and produce the link of proof for tuckpads network. Bet your gonna choke like the TACO does.
Gotta say you maggies have an unerring way of adopting the worse qualities to preach to the sheeple.

Yup. And it's gonna show by you doing the maggie playbook thing in still demanding people to do things while ignoring request for same from others.

How is being called racist (you misspelled it by the way) going to prevent you from getting stabbed? Are you suggesting that doing something that gets you called racist is going to stop someone from stabbing you who otherwise would?
And why do you care about the race of the person stabbing you? Personally I don't want to get stabbed (or shot or anything else) by anyone of any race. But that's just me.

You really need it spelled out for you? The demographic of the assailant was that of by far the most violent group in the nation. A rayciss (smart) person would have a heightened sense of awareness and take measures to insure their safety, like moving seats to somewhere less vulnerable. Had she moved across to the open seat facing inward she might be labeled racist, but would also be alive.

Because she would have "seen the knife pulled and overpowered the male?" Then what the fuck are you ransfobs bitching about trans people in sports for...obviously by your logic an average woman can take out a psychotic genetic male.

Just for your information the members of this message group were between the ages of 18 and 40. My guess is that they were overwhelmingly white and male.
They were all adults under the law and calling them young boys as Vance did is misleading at best an outright lie at worst. In my opinion this is a direct result of Trump’s caustic influence on the party.
Here is an article about some of the main offenders.
https://thehill.com/homenews/campaig...-who-involved/
Who are the Young Republicans in explosive group chat?
An explosive new report from Politico exposed thousands of text messages from a Young Republican group chat in which members joked about gas chambers, slavery and rape.
The group chat included messages from about a dozen leaders associated with the Young Republican National Federation — the GOP’s 15,000-member political organization for Republicans between 18 and 40 years old — and spanned more than seven months this year.
The reporting sent waves through political circles, as the Young Republican leaders mentioned in the story — from New York, Kansas, Arizona and Vermont — drew intense scrutiny and backlash, including from members of the GOP. Some were promptly fired from their jobs in politics.
The Young Republican National Federation condemned the “vile and inexcusable language revealed in the Politico article” and called for immediate resignations of all those involved.
Others, like Vice President Vance, suggested the leaked text messages sent by a Democratic candidate in Virginia were “far worse” than the messages in the Young Republicans group chat, adding, “I refuse to join the pearl clutching when powerful people call for political violence.”
Here’s a look at the Young Republicans mentioned in the piece and the repercussions
Peter Giunta
Bobby Walker
Samuel Douglass
William Hendrix
Michael Bartels
Alex Dwyer
Anne KayKaty
Joe Maligno
Luke Mosiman
Rachel Hope
