Default ANOTHER dog cage/carrier

Well, my bulldog keeps eating her dog carriers.. yes eating. I have already bought her two.

Last time I asked (about 5 or 6 months ago) I know there were lots of you that had extras,
but I deleted my messages and don't remember who has them. Anyone still have one??

Looking for another dog carrier, medium or large size, and also a wire cage.

Let me know what you have and we can work something out!

Here is the naughty girl:

Lol I know right! She is so bad, I think I am going to put her in obedience classes shortly! She chews up everything! All of the cages she ate were plastic, I have yet to try a metal one. We will see how that goes!

Is she getting enough attention/play time? Pups have a lot of pent up energy, and don't do well when confined for long periods. Long walks will work wonders.

Yes I play with her all day long and she is with me constantly. The only time I have to put her up really is when I am in an appointment which is never more than an hour. I think the longest period of time I have ever left her alone is like 3 hours.
Someone told me I should have crate trained her.. she actually has her own bedroom lol
But she has been losing her baby teeth so maybe the teething process had something to do with it?

I will admit I dont take her on a lot of walks, but she does play outside atleast once a day for about an hour. Is that enough or do you think she needs to be outside more than that? She is actually a perfect dog aside from the chewing stuff she isnt supposed to...

It's a puppy thing. You can't train them not to chew. It's what they do. Provide chew toys until they outgrow it.

Sounds like a good time for a "chew toy" promotion, Destiny!

Actually. yes. My “owner” went through that, and I had to refinish a couple nice pieces of wood furniture. I ended up getting some human baby “gum” numbing gel stuff. Maybe not a wire cage, yet, as the dog will chew regardless and metal wire might not be a good idea.

Destiny when my Daisy was losing her baby teeth I kept her well supplied with Bully sticks. Rawhide is actually bad for dogs because it can't be digested, but bully sticks are great. She loved them and wolfed them down! Now I give her knee bones and knuckle bones to chew on and she loves them. It keeps her away from my furniture and my shoes. Somehow dogs always know which shoes are your favorites and go straight for them!

Its not a puppy thing... whatever a puppy does now, it will do later as an adult. Its just a matter of teaching them the correct things to chew on! Agree with bully sticks and pig ears and other chewey meaty things. KONG toys filled with peanut butter keeps a dog busy for at least an hour. Try and stay away from heavy, hard bones, as they can break teeth (just happened last year with my american bulldog and cost me over a grand and two surgeries to fix). Yes to more exercise outdoors, a tired dog is a happy dog! Best of luck, dogs are better than boyfriends anyday!
