My question to the community at large is, do you all feel that change is needed? As he stated, he has decided S.A. needs to change. Well I personally disagree with him. I think we have, for the most part, a pretty tight knit community that helps each other out when needed. You don't see a lot of drama and B.S. like you do in a lot of other areas.

This Whispers person seems to be someone that just craves attention anyway he can get it and if we all decide to just ignore his posts and rants, maybe, just maybe he will go away. He claims that someone reached out to him to come down and stir things up, well he has stated things like this before and when pressed, said that the person (or people) would not come forward and confirm what he said out of fear of repercussions. I think that's a bunch of crap and he just does things to serve his own agenda, whether it be post counts, reads or whatever, it is pointless. If there really are people that feel that this community needs to change, why not bring it up yourself? I find it hard to believe that someone would be so afraid of repercussions that they can't speak out for themselves.

I see a number of people react to his posts, some in anger, some in frustration some in fun and some just to try and needle him back. Each time you respond to one of his and his friends posts it's another win for them. I'm just asking people to please limit their wins and ignore their posts.

I seldom post (guess I don't crave the attention like they do) but I just wanted to let you all know how I feel about someone coming into our community for the sole purpose of stirring things up and dictating how things should be run here.

I don't know if he sees it that way. But he has said, on more than one occasion, that if you call him fat (does morbidly obese count?), he WINS.

So I suggest Darter that you caution all of your movement to be extra careful in that regard. Surely he has a scoreboard somewhere detailing all of his WINS.

You're probably right Nena, it may not have been a good idea to feed into it. I just saw that he said they were planning on coming back in and starting up again and wanted to give my opinion on it.

I love San Antonio. The mods are fair and they listen to you as well. The only thing I would change is banning people from the community if they misbehave off the board with other members of the board. I'm talking about rape, stalking, harassment, etc. There would have to be ample proof of course. That way it can keep the community safe as a whole.
