Default Login issue
Recently the site has required me to login twice. I login the first time and get the welcome ftime bar and then get the page that asks for my credentials the second time. What's up with that?

This happens to me. I just set my browser to stay logged in and don't have to worry about it any more.

That is a bad idea. I'm trying to understand why this happens. I have logged on from different computers and different browsers. Same issue.

after you login and check 'keep me logged in' and when it asks you to login again just click on any showcase or other eccie link and you're on. That's what I do

Clicking 'Remember Me' at login will most likely alleviate this problem. If that doens't do it then you may need to disable the 'Private Browsing Mode' in your browser (if you're using it). Lastly clear all your browser cookies, history and cache. One or a combination of those things WILL fix it for ya.
