Going UTR..............
I have a question for those of you who are good with "The Rules Of ECCIE"
Here is my question:
Once a provider has gone UTR can a guy post a review about her? Mention her on public forums? Write about her in private forums?
Thank ya'll Happy Saturday everyone

This is probably a question for the mods, but...
There are different "levels" of UTR.
1. Completely UTR. You do not post, advertise, get reviewed or get mentioned. But you can still have a handle and use the board for PM's and references.
2. Partial UTR. You post and get mentioned, but do not advertise or get reviewed.
I believe the 'rule' is that if you do not allow reviews, you do not get to advertise.

Maybe it's his brain that's a footlong vs an appendage. (Kind of like a private dick - aka Dick Tracy)
LOL!

I would question "partial" UTR because its really hard to define.
UTRs tend not to show as "blips" on the radar screen because in reality presence IS advertising as it were. (I think showcases go away too).
Also - as we all know ===> people who don't want to get reviewed do so every once in a while. In reality that turns into a little fracas between the reviewed and the reviewee usually off the forums. Seldom have I seen a review removed unless there is a known imminent danger because of it PLUS once the search engines catch it (usually around Midnight) - it will be there forever anyway..

Perhaps its not a true utr, in reference to the partial utr, but you just seldom post ads like every couple of months or maybe 1 or 2 a year kinda think.

If a UTR provider does not want reviews posted of her then she must establish a No Review Policy arrangement with the staff here. That will allow staff to enforce no reviews but it also means that she cannot advertise here.

If a provider has an established agreement with the staff here to have no reviews posted of her then she gives up her right to advertise here.
Partial UTR? No such thing. Either they or they aren't. As Dennis stated, any site presence pretty much blows UTR out of the water.

In regard to "partial utr"...if you say so Herr Moderator. But I know of providers who are or have been on here that posted, were not reviewed, and did not advertise, and did not have advertising in their signature block. That was what I was describing.

I have known ladies like that as well. However, UTR to me means exactly that. Under the Radar, cannot be detected, no seen presence. If they post on the most popular Hobby site around, well that kind of defeats the purpose of UTR, doesn't it.

I think the "partial UTR" is just a way of saying not as involved on the site. Any real UTR has no site presence. As I understand it (and putting words in Mokoa's first post, sorry ) but if the provider has a handle on the site she can still be discussed, talked about, etc. If she wants privacy and her name not mentioned on the board then her account has to be disabled.
