Swing club info + recommendations

Hi,

I will be in Houston this weekend and am planning to go to a swing club. I have searched these forums for swing club info - and the most popular one seems to be The Mystery Zone. So just wanted to get some recent feedback . Is this still the place to go or have any newer ones come up ? The Cave seems to be more of a bdsm type of club.

I have been to the Colette swing club in Dallas and it is an absolute blast. So, is the Mystery Zone similar to it ? Any specific do's and dont's ? I will be going on Saturday - what are the best times to go ?

Do you have any recommendations for providers who would go to swing clubs ? And providers - if you want to go to thw swing club - please feel free to PM with the info,rates etc .

There are only 2 on-premise clubs currently open in the Houston area,TMZ & Pendulum. Unless someone else knows of another? A few others pop up occasionally but don't last long, TMZ being the longest running.


TMZ is pretty big & I believe full play is only allowed in the VIP area. Contraceptives are free and abundant & Saturday is couples only. The only negative I can say is that smoking is allowed.


Pendulum is modeled after Collette but in my opinion is only about a third the size of TMZ. Full play is allowed in all areas but contraceptives are only available in the back & are $1/each. Smoking is not allowed & it is a much more inner city crowd.


Both are BYOB and offer free ice/mixers.Best time is between 10pm-2am

I am not familiar with Pendulum. I have heard of it, but never been. I; however, have spent lots of time at TMZ. I helped open that club. I worked there, taught pole dance lessons there back in the day, and played there with my ex husband when we were dating, and a few times after we got married. I have since been there a few times, but not very often.
If you are looking for an escort, I would love to accompany you. I know some people there, and it is fun!
There is only playing in the VIP areas, and yes, smoking is allowed
But there are actual beds in the private rooms, as well as a big voyeur room where you will usually see TONS of people going at it. It is fun to watch. Also has showers in the back, and hot tub (if it is working).
Overall, it is a fun place to hang out.

Houston has a great swingers club scene. Better than some other cities imho. TMZ had been a mainstay, but Pendulum is gaining lots of momentum. (They have a Sybian room after all.) There are a few other places and the private scene has been delightful too.

Pray tell of these "few other places" as women aren't the only ones looking for new playgrounds!

Pendulum has made a number of great improvements recently. The restrooms have been updated; additional private rooms added; insulation installed to aid the air conditioning. Still nonsmoking and the Sybian is going strong.

Florida and the southeast in general have a better swing club scene. Now Houston has a lot of swingers but that has a lot to do with Houston having a huge population. In the end, Houston doesn't compare. It's too family oriented and not a party town. BTW, I also noticed that Houston swing clubs charge a lot of money compared to the southeast. I think they charge single females to get in which I personally think is stupid as fuck. Couples are kind of pinched hard too. It's traditionally the single guys that have to pay a lot. Now private parties could be a different matter all together. I have never attended a private party in Houston because I generally don't like Houstonians and their behavior. But the north side area of town could be a good place to start because the people there seem somewhat normal compared to the bullshit side of the city. It would make sense why there are popular swing clubs in that area.
