Those are all very helpful sites. Those should be all you need to start one yourself. Good luck!

If our economy continues to suck like it's been doing, all businesses will be non-profit.

Question Interesting

I have a rather unique idea for a charity fundraising type website, and have been doing a little research. I am in college and don't have a lot of spare time for it, but I am trying to decide how I can protect my idea. I'm leaning toward intellectual property, any suggestions?

Unless it really is pretty unique it's unlikely you can qualify that as intellectual property beyond trademarking any unique symbols you develop or copyrighting the written material you develop yourself which is unique enough that it isn't already copyrighted. There are dozens of the kind of web sites that do what you propose, and community foundations have aggregated such things for many years.
