Perfect Ending?

I am watching Talking Bad as I type....


My honest opinion I am neither here nor there on the ending. It was certainly better than The Sopranos and Dexter ending.

Also in my honest opinion I was wanting one of two endings. Walt saves Jesse and they run off into the clear "blue" yonder or it was all a dream of Walt's from his first fainting spell.

You did not like the Dexter ending, think it was better than thinking he was dead. Maybe there will be another season, kinda left it open maybe. Kinda like the Sopranos - though it did kinda suck.

Just watched the new on Masters of Sex. Could be interesting.

Sup homies and mi biatches!!!! Like some on this board Breaking Bad touches me. Gotz much love for that show. Heck it is A to the B to the motherfuckin Q’s home. Feel Me. All this being said ABQ did not like the ending. Great great show maybe the best of all time. My issue is how sympathetic they tried to make Walt in this final episode. Yes, he knew his time was tickin faster than that watch left at the gas station. Yes, the symbolism was there with how he died and looking up much like “Crawl Space” and even the pilot episode.

The viewer was made to come to hate Walter White and in the last episode we are only supposed to feel empathy for him. ABQ has a problem with that. Yes, some will say the ending was brilliant. That is was perfect. It was good but could have been great. This should have been two hours Yo! Here is how the ABQ would have ended the show. No disrespect to me boy Vince Gilligan but I would of twisted the knife somewhat. ABQ understands this was as close to a Happy ending as possible for Walt. ABQ says hold on a mother of all mothers minute here.

This is how ABQ would of ended it.

Lets cut to Walter picking up the phone as he and Jesse are walking outside. In my version Walter was not shot during the melee.
“You put a hit on me. After all the money you made. Your greed is worse than mine. All of your Nazi crew is dead. You crossed me Lydia and that is not a good thing. But you know what if Mike taught me one thing it was Full Measures. First he regretted half measures and numerous time I could (voice rising) have killed you numerous times but I did half measure because you found a way to tap into my greed. Two positives does equal a negative. So there is that!”

“But lets talk about you and your health Lydia. You are not feeling well are you. I gave you a nasty dose of Ricin and you do not have long at all. So you should start to say goodbye to your daughter as there is nothing doctors will be able to do for you. It is quite the painful death that you have coming you piece of shit.”

Just as Walter finishes his last sentence a SUV pulls up into the compound. Walt hangs up with Lydia and drops the phone. Curious who is in the SUV. A woman dressed in black steps out as Walter takes a step forward. She has a 357 Magnum in her hand and walks forward eyeing all the bullet holes in the compound.

“Both of you stay where you are. No, in fact Jesse you move away from that scumbug whatever he calls himself now. Says Marie.
Jesse slowly obeys your wish. As she moves slowly closer to Walt.

“You truly do look like the Unabomber. Your empire is no more and I heard on the news you were in isolation and all alone in New Hampshire. How did that feel Walt or should I call you Heisenberg?”

“Marie why are you here?” Says Walt sighing.

“I have followed you almost all evening after sneaking away from my security. Skylar told me you were coming here. Look at you, look how pathetic you look. Taking everything away from me, My husband, my sister, my life. Making a video to discredit my husband. Hank talks to me at night and I listen. He was just too scared to bring you into the DEA. Because you were family. I say fuck Family.”

“Mrs. Shrader I need to tell you something.” Jesse tries to tell her in a broken voice.
She quickly turns to Jesse. “Do not move or say another word for God help me this first bullet will be for you. You look that crap too.”

“Them Neo Nazis kept my prisoner to cook Meth. They killed an ex-girlfriend of mine to keep me in line.”
Marie turns her attention back to Walt. “You killed Hank and for that I will end this once and for all. Prison is too good for you. For what you have done. How many lives you destroyed.” She is cut off again by Jesse.

“But Mrs Shrader you got to hear me out.” Jesse is pleading with her. Marie turns the gun back on Jesse to put him in line. Then turns her attention back to Walter who is just standing there emotionless.

“So Walt or Heisenberg you think you are just going to walk away. DEA and the ABQ police are coming soon. I called them. I saw your little machine gun contraption. This ends right now. I will avenge everything you have done. I will put down the Monster that is Heisenberg. For all you have done to our family. I will do what Skylar was too scared of? I will do what Hank and his ethical code could not.”
Walter glares at her his right eye rises upward upwards. “You do not have the balls to pull that trigger Marie. You and I both know it so just leave me to the DEA.” His last ounce of Heisenberg is trying to come out and be resurrected by his nightmare in New Hampshire.

“Balls are weak, and saggy. They hang with nowhere to go. They are a lot like you. But I have a vagina and it can take a pounding. While you are just a pussy. What did you say I did not have the Balls.” Marie shouts and a second later a shot is fired. Walt quickly goes to his knees in pain. “Yelling out “Bitch…Bitch.”

“Looks like you have no balls either there Walt.” Jesse interrupts again But Mrs. Schrader Hank was not….”

You want to be next. You are just as bad as Him. You were partners. So shut up before I shoot you too. Jesse taking a step back and nods in agreement.

Walter is in extreme pain. “You kill me you will go to prison Marie as his balls or what is left of them slowly slide down his pants and splat on the ground. He did not see this coming. He is infuriated as he can accept Jesse pulling the trigger but not Marie. Not like this.

“Prison is better than what you have done to me. To Hank, To Skylar.”

“I never liked your house and your stupid Purple. I hated with a passion going to your place. Purple everywhere Marie. Why? How sick was that. I felt the only way I could be content was if I was blind at your house. You obsessive compulsive little bitch!” Walt says in the final courage he has trying to deal with the enormous pain.
Marie walks up to Walt. “Mr Meth kingpin just shut your face.” She then does just that with a bullet. Jesse in total shock but also a sense of relief comes over him. Not having the courage to pull the trigger himself even after all that Walt did to him. He drops to his knees as blood is gushing from Walt’s face. Marie turns to Jesse.

“He corrupted everyone including you. I have thought all day if I should kill you too but you tried to help Hank and for that I say thank You. So what is it that you wanted to say….say it now.” Marie is full of rage still.
“Hank was not killed by Walt but by those sick Neo Nazi fucks. Walt or Heisenberg whatever you want to call him offered all of his money for Hank’s life. To save him but they killed him anyway and still took all the money.”

At first Marie has nothing to say then can only whisper the word “What?” A few more moments pass and Marie drops the gun.

“Just leave me in peace.” She tells Jesse. But Jesse walks up to Walt who is clearly deceased and whispers “Karma is a bitch!”

He then runs to a car and high tails it out of there. Breaking down the fence in the process.

Cut to Police sirens as they survey the outside they point a gun on Walter and check for a pulse. Lying twenty feet away is Marie a gun still in her hand and a bullet in her head.

Several weeks later

Jesse crams as much money as he can into his trunk. He looks around a compound very similar to the one he was held captive in. He smiles and says “Todd you were really one stupid fuck….bitch!

He opens the car door and turns on the ignition. He turns his head to the right and sees Brock.

“Lets get out of here.” Brock Smiles as we cut to Executive Producer- Vince Gilligan and the rest of the ending credits.

I'm not convinced he died. The last scene shows cops going up to him. If the writers want to restart the series, all they have to do is have an ambulance show up in the opening scene of any new show. Just my thoughts.

There is going to be a Better Call Saul prequel. We might see some more Mike and Gus.

I would expect (hope) it to be more comedic, given Bob Odenkirk.

Agree very addictive show,read a post here last year and started watching. Finally caught up with the marathon and was up until 4:00 am watching the finale episode. So who was your favorite character and less favorite?
