regulars?

question for the ladies and gents...
I need both sides and your opinions please.
what do you consider to be a "regular"? I know there are different ideas of this specially when it comes from a males point of view and a ladies point of view. For me my opinion is a regular would be once a week and/or once every two weeks on a consistent basis.
my opinion is that even though we have met many times throughout the years but it has been once in a few months type of thing would not be considered as a regular.

I would hope from all the ladies that a "regular" is someone that you're glad to hear from and excited to see, regardless of how long it's been.

@pdid... well of course that... and @savac... or anyone else confused by my question,maybe i need to clarify something.
scenario... if you have been seeing a gent for a total of three years or so but only see him once or twice in a year.. is that considered a regular to someone? ( like i run specials for my regulars but i consider those regulars to be once a week or once every other week) no specials for those that are like once a year or so..
does that help with where and why i am asking? lol

I would say your regulars are who you want them to be for 'specials'. I travel so let's say I only get to see you every couple of months but we click and you enjoy my company, maybe you want to offer me the special. If not, I should understand... It's your business. In the same vein, I could choose to see someone else. I'd say your weekly regulars know who they are and for the rest, just make sure they know what rate to expect and let them decide.

IMHO the world "regular" can mean alot of different things depending on the client that you are talking about. I have some gents that i consider regular and i only see them a few times a year. That few times a year is regular for them. I also have clients that i consider regular and i see them once a week and if not once a week a couple times a month. As much as i enjoy visiting with my regulars i love meeting new guys also and making them become regulars.

It sounds to me like you are asking because you ran a special for your "regulars" and some guy said he should be considered a "regular" so he could qualify for the special. But in your mind, you've only seen him maybe six times in 3 years, and you don't consider that a regular.

If I've described the scenario correctly, I'd say the guy is a cheapskate. No way is that a regular. Once or twice a month--or more--like clockwork makes someone a regular to my way of thinking.

Hmm... I would consider someone a regular if I don't have to screen or go back and read old emails/posts/pms/texts on them when they call.

I guess once every two or three weeks ought to fall into the regular category...

But that begs the question; when does the duration come into play here? How many visits or for how long does he have to visit until he falls into the regular category??

Hell if i know, I have REGULAR guys that visit me frequently!!

I know that sometimes a guy cannot keep up with what i consider regular, but if I've find that at least 2 or more times a month would be a regular.
Frequent texts just saying hey...your my Regular in my mind.

Seems fair, but if i see you 2 times this month and none next month or the next... NOT a regular. Dont know what happen to you...
