What if you found out your sweet ATF or 'regular' provider actually had a pimp? What if everything you thought you knew about her was completely false, made-up, or a lie? What if she is actually married? What if you found out she was an ex-criminal? What if she lied about her age or her sex?? What if you found out she had a dirty lil secret? Would you still see her if you found this out? Would this change your thoughts of her?

I, for one, know MANY different types of people. I have witnessed a lot and experienced a lot. Even when I learn of something new its not always what I expect. This is such a secretive lifestyle and some ladies prefer to create an alter-ego for the hobby life. In a way even some men do it. For example, I knew a client for over 5 years and did NOT ever know what he did for a living. I tried guessing all the time and looking for clues in his car and shit but I NEVER found out.

So, we all have secrets and sometimes we might lie, but I always wonder what another provider or clients' dirtiest secret might be. And does one really care when they find out a dirty lil secret? Or if they never find out? Just curious what others thoughts and comments on this topic might be.

You are right Gemma - both providers and hobbyists alike do not live with full disclosure in this hobby. I will not flat out lie, but I do omit a lot of things when discussing my personal life with a provider both for the sake of personal protection through anonymity but also to keep my personal life separated from my hobby life. This helps keeps my hobbying in the realm of naughty fantasy and allows me to concentrate on and live out fantasies without thinking of things in my personal life.
If I have a really strong sexual chemistry with a provider and found out a secret, I wouldn't be mad or stop seeing them. This hobby is full of secrets. But if I asked something, say "do u have a pimp" and found out I was flat out lied to I wouldn't go back. Lying about that puts me in jeopardy so that's a no go. If I found she was married, I'd ask if the husband was ok with her lifestyle. If he was, I'd continue to go back for sure!

When I saw the title for this thread, I thought it was a new reality series.

I don't really care about a ladies private life as long as she doesn't bring it into the session. I just want to enjoy a brief interlude with them, not get all gooey eyed and inquisitive.

I wouldn't care as long as they were not a man before and are now a woman. I don't think I would be able to see someone if I had that kind of knowledge of them. The other thing that would cause me to stop seeing someone was if I found out that they were under the age of 18. Everything else wouldn't bug.

Well you can break it down into the biggest problems and go from there. If the provider was a different sex/gender, which is what I assumed you meant when reading it, I would have major issues with that. Thats something that should have been stated up front, at the very least before donation and play time. Thats a major breach of trust.

As long as my safety isn't an issue I don't care. Lie about your age, your weight (within reason and you ladies know what that means, 5'4 180 is no where near 5'5 135 so stop it) your martial status, kids, or whatever. If a lady and gent become friends outside of the hobby then share what you're comfortable with and no more.

By the way if a lady tells me shes married, I don't give a fuck. I'm not her husband or boyfriend and who am I or anyone else to judge that relationship? During the time the two, or three, sometimes even four individuals are together there is no marriage, no boyfriend/girlfriend, no age...just conversation, cuddling, and sex (or whatever else you're into).

ex-criminal thing, thats iffy, but whats in the past is the past. Now if I found out my ATF regular lady who offers me food and drinks during our time was one in jail for posioning a husband/boyfriend or something I may never see her again, but again thats a safety issue. Other than that I wouldn't see a criminal background to weigh too heavily into my decision to see someone, but again it really depends on what type of background you're talking about.

In this business people lie, its that simple, and they don't always do it for bad reasons. They do it for protection. Ladies can't have everyone knowing where they live, where they work if they have a real world job etc... Same for guys, so they may lie about where they work, area of town they live in, marital status, hell even backgrounds. Most ladies never share their real name, and I would guess most gents don't either. Its the nature of the business so expect anything personal being said to you, regardless of who it comes from, to be a lie.

What your outlining, our touching on, is different personality traits that cause people to connect with others at different levels. If the client cared for the provider, possibly more than he/she should, then that client would of course react differently to the realization of the truth about said provider. If the personality trait of the client is like that of BigDeal (and please don't take that negatively BigDeal) then the level of connection with the provider never reaches a point where the realization of a truth would have any impact.

(however, no one is under any obligation to answer any question)
In the Business world, the cost of losing your integrity is so high, no true businessperson would dare lie in a Business transaction.

If you consider the Hobby is a GAME, lying is fair,
but BOTH sides can expect to be played, lied to and ultimately CHEATED out of whatever they can be taken for.
