Dentist Will Only Hire Ugly Chicks
Amazing. A Dental Assistant is fired for being 'too hot'. The dentist admits to being weak and not committed to his wife enough to withstand a hot chick working in his practice. And that's her fault? The state Supreme Court upholds the firing. Which state? Iowa, of course.

It's not fair but sadly legally it's allowed because it's his practice and he can fire whom he wants. Morally it's wrong because it's not her fault that he is tempted. Although I am curious to what kind of clothing and what behavior she was showing. Although wouldn't this be a little like a man raping a woman because of how she's dressed even though she didn't ask for it? A woman being punished for how she dresses because a man cannot control his feelings? Damn...I confused myself.

It's true that a female employee should dress as her employer dictates (within the job description). But to be fired because your employer is 'tempted' doesn't seem quite right...which is what he admitted to.

Only in Iowa, and truly sad. The dentist wife played a role in this for sure. Wonder how the courts would have ruled had a female employer did this to a male employee?

It took him ten years to come to his conclusion?
So, he can do what he did because it is his practice? So, his asking her about her orgasms is alright as well because it is his practice?
It is just yet another glaring example of irresponsibility. It is obvious that his wife discovered the situation and he used the assistant as a scapegoat in an attempt to save his ass.
Pathetic.

You can be fired for ANY reason in Texas. The only important factor is if it is for cause then they do not get unemployment. The only thing dumb about this is him stating why he fired her.

Unless there's an employment contract or an employee is a member of a union, then their employment is typically considered to be an "at will" employment. At-will employees may be terminated for any reason, or no reason at all so long as the employer isn't breaking any statute, contractual agreements or public policy, --it's totally legal.
Although in this instance, I would thinck that the discriminatory laws would have sided with the former employee.
Personally, I feel that the reason for this termination is weak and sorry, at best, it's still his call...or in reality, it was probably more his wife's call, than his.
I'd file for unemployment on his ass and then stand outside of his practice each and every day that they're open with a picket sign telling anyone going in or passing by my story and why my employment was terminated. That's what I'd do. Fuggem! Lmao!

This is too funny...I wonder if the replacement would be offended by this (well of course it being a female)

I wonder if [Staff edit. M] read this. He is a great guy with a full service practice but specializing in implants (teeth). I can never help noticing all the women who work in his office are HOT. He is the only guy that works there. He has other dentists, hygeniests, receptionists, etc working there and they are all HOT women.
