Am glad nothing happened at my show last night!

Now I just hope that people don't go overboard and start making stupid knee-jerk reactions like the commentator who earlier mentioned that the movie was very violent and had a "very dark" reputation and culture that surrounded it.

After the facts and reasons get sorted out, then we can take steps to hopefully prevent such a thing from happening again.

It just makes you sick to hear about. It could have happened anywhere too, and that makes it all the more terrifying, IMHO.

He was going to college to get his PhD in Neuroscience. It makes me wonder what made him crack. He never even had a speeding ticket. I'm wondering they they found some kind of neurotoxin that makes people go crazy. My government conspiracy of the day.

I had three family members in the theater here in TX last night and I am glad they are OK, but I still feel the pain of so many families (the ones who died, the ones who were hurt and many others affected). Is a sad day for everyone.

So sad What's wrong with these people!? I don't understand how someone can just do something like that. I bet there are going to be a lot more crazy stunts when December rolls around, all the people who think the world will end are probably going to do stupid things. I hope not though I hope nothing like this. I hope he gets his ass beat in prison! And I hope someone makes him his bitch!

Colorado is where I grew up and still call home. This has upset me as much as Colombine did 17 years ago. Violence like this never ceases to amaze and dishearten me. It's so hard not to become misanthropic when a person perpetuates this sort of senseless violence.

This is a random act of violence that is completely unpredictable and unstoppable. Some people are just crazy on a deep level. What I mean is that you communicate with them and after a casual association, they seem to be completely intelligent, respectful, and enjoyable to be around. Spend enough time around them and with enough focus, you will discover their deeply rooted psychiatric disorder.

The reason why I say this is because I've known first-hand someone for 5 years who is quite financially successful, intellectual, with a perfectly clean record. Within a single instant, exhibited extremely harsh and cold-blooded behavior beyond the scope of anything I've ever seen. In my view, the only difference between people like the one I've known and these guys on the news is that most of them just haven't killed anyone (yet).
