Sexual things happen everywhere that I go. I was wondering if anyone else has this phenomenon? Do you think it is because of the sexual energy that you put out or the lens that you see the world through?

Exhibit #1- the number given to me in a crowded restaurant (by a cute very young man)

BTW, when you took a picture of the number, did you get any reaction from anyone around?

I tried to be discreet but was laughing really hard. I was already embarassed so I just tried not to look around. I'm sure someone saw, I could hardly find a seat in the place... but it was too funny to not take a pic. I have some other exhibits that I am rounding up.

I have a buddy who smokes, and he is always pointing out clocks that read edit - removed reference not allowed by the site or other coincidences related to his hobby. He insists that the universe is talking to him. In a world of visual stimuli, we always notice the things that have meaning for us.

So, do you think that it was coincidental that he gave me that number, or intentional. Also, do you think that a non-hobbying adult wouldn't findit as funny, or give it much thought?

I think there are plenty of non-hobbying adults that would find it funny, but there are a lot that wouldn't have a clue. I saw a license plat the other day said 69 4ME. It was being driven by a 65 year old. I think is referred to the car and not a sexual position. Needless to say, I had a good chuckle.

Considering that it was a guy who gave you the number, there is a distinct poxxibility that he gave you that number intentionally. I was just pointing out that we notice what we are looking for. The hundred other times you have been to a restaurant and you DIDN'T get "69" didn't make any impact on you at all.

But knowing it was you, Ari, I'm sure it was on purpose.

So I was looking for 69 that day? I don't often go to restaurants with numbers, but point taken.

Exhibit number 2. While out of town looking for Cirilla's. Clearly my lens. I was envisioning all of the possibilities though. There is a lot to be said for good lube.
