I have found that a lot of Providers who have been around for awhile claim to be settled in the business with no worries and a regular flow of clientele. My question is, if they are so "SETTLED" and content with their business, why do some (not ALL) feel the need to use distasteful tactics to block other Providers? One example of this is blatantly encouraging other Providers NOT TO provide someone with reference information. Gentlemen, if you knew a lady operated in this way, would it influence your decision to spend time with her?

Yes Elle! I heard about THAT provider and ummmmm wtf?!?! Why would you send a mass mail telling providers not to provide references to another provider because you don't like her??? And then to think that someone won't say anything? Really?! That is the most effed up thing anyone can do! References are there so that we can stay safe. I don't hate anyone here that much to NOT give a reference. That's just cold.

It would be a negative personality indicator and would effect my decision. I am a big fan of screening so anything or anyone that interferes with that process should be dealt with.

Well, i agree with what Lovelyelle says, but i personally don`t ever rely on references, because i have seen too many ladies not screen properly. I give out references if asked, though.

As to being settled in the buz with a ton of regular clients. Things change, so do clients. No client sticks to the same escorts over years. Many ladies get UTR (or have high rates) when they are settled but make ads again once they loose a few. It`s normal. Ladies pretending to know otherwise have no clue about the business. :-) Regulars come and go. Best is to provide references and treat other ladies with respect (lets say the ones who deserve it and don`t have a superiority complex) and interchange business and clients. That is just my opinion and how i usually "work".

I like nice people. So far I have not had a bad experience with an ECCIE lady. If one was being a dickhead and trying to cockblock me with a provider she was feuding with but whom I wanted to see, it would definitely affect my desire to see her negatively.

I know it's a business, but hopefully it's a business we can all enjoy.

The lady discussed here is just a jealous biatch. I am hoping she will out herself. Providers like these need their own special section on this forum. It's gotta take a lot of hatred to do what she did.

Aww, Chica... Such the party pooper , lol, JK! Fair enough... BUT, seeing that this is a VERY CLEAR display of questionable character, shouldn't Providers like this get exposed?

I'm CERTAIN she'll out herself. Guilty dogs bark the loudest... It's just such a shame that this kind of thing happens, and it's the SAME ladies who run around on the forums speaking that "sisterhood" crap who are doing it!

Certainly, just not here on the national boards. This area has readers from all over the country and the world. We have all of these local forums here where this type of information can and should be discussed, where it is actually pertinent to the people that participate in the hobby there.

Trust me when I say, NO ONE gives a flying fuck about a petty little skirmish between a bunch of hens outside of that one local area. The overall topic is fine to discuss here and maybe even worthwhile but not the individual personalities involved. Clear enough?

I rarely ask providers for references just to avoid this shit. I do my own screening 90% of the time. I get asked for references a lot and I do give them promptly. The last thing I want to see is anyone get hurt or in trouble especially when it could have been avoided.

The "hobby" can be a cutthroat world.

People like to dress it up and talk about "community", "sisterhood", "friendship", "proper etiquette", and all of that... Yeah, while those things may not be total fabrications they do rest on very shaky ground.

I've got an idea of the situation that prompted this thread, its not all that unique. At least in this situation it was pretty much right out there. Other times a provider might engage in a quiet whisper and rumor campaign over an extended period to discredit and cause problems for someone. Anyways...

If I found out a provider I was interested in seeing was causing problems for another provider it would impact on how I viewed her. It would definitely make me more cautious in any dealings with her.
