Default Jasmine Crockett lost the Democratic election and she is accusing the GOP of rigging the Democratic election to cause her to lose

Sure! Blame someone else and not take personal responsibility for her own actions and failures

unlike in Trump's case, there was actual fuckery though. the Supreme Court never should have gotten involved overruling the lower court's ruling extending voting hours at certain polling locations in Dallas County. the lower court made the right call.
but it wasn't close enough to make a difference. Talarico won either way.

The story itself says the disagreement wasn’t about Republicans somehow “rigging a Democratic primary.” It was about a court decision on whether polling places in Dallas County could stay open longer because people were confused about where to vote.

The Texas Supreme Court denied Crockett’s request for an extension and ordered election officials to segregate any ballots cast after the polls closed. That sounds more like a dispute over polling procedures than evidence that the GOP secretly rigged a Democratic primary.

Also, a lot of the piece seems to be reactions from people on X rather than reporting about what actually happened. That tends to make things sound a lot more dramatic than the underlying issue probably is.

Polling places are democrat and republican or whig. You cannot hold the place open for one party.

Now, Jasmine is showing signs of TDS. You think you got cheated...Trump's fault. Your crotch is itchy...Trump's fault. Your favorite drag racer gets voted off...also Trump's fault. Remember Jazzie was leading until the fake Colbert controversy. There was skullduggery that her opponent Tallywacker was complicit in. So, he got money and recognition. Maybe she can sue but she has to change her story. She probably can't win but discovery may garner something.

Sean Hannity endorsed Jazzie.

Some parts of that post are hard to understand. The Whig Party hasn't been around since the 1850s, so it doesn't really have anything to do with polling places today.

This was also a Democratic primary in Texas, which is a race within the party.

The article talks about a disagreement over whether polling places in Dallas County could stay open longer because voters were confused about where they were supposed to go. The Texas Supreme Court turned down the extension and said that any ballots cast after closing had to be kept separate.

That's a question of how the polls are set up, not proof that someone "rigged" a Democratic primary.

As an election official in two different states in four different localities, the polling places are shared by all parties...even the Whigs (that's a joke). If locations change from one election to the next and people are confused then it has been deemed that no one party gained an advantage. Unless you're claiming that democrats are more easily confused?

A lot of confusion in Texas due to redistricting and changes from county wide voting to precinct level voting.

This has led to confusion at the polling places. You go to the same place you went to last year and you are told you can no longer cast your vote there but must go to another location instead.

That’s what this is about. These changes to the election system are all brought about by the republicans in texas.

Then there is a "provisional ballot". You end up in the wrong place, they can't find where they're going, or they can't make the trip; you fill out a provisional ballot with ALL the pertinent information and they will hold it until they find if it makes a difference to the outcome.

Shouldn't have to but, if there are 100 provisional ballots and 100 absentee ballots but the margin of victory was 500 votes, the ballots will be retained but not counted.

The confusion does not favor one party over another. Its a wash. Unless you agree, democrats are stupider than republicans.

My point is that it’s stupid, partisan and ultimately disenfranchised voters both democratic and republican. It also costs more money to boot. As that’s taxpayer money I would prefer that they do things as efficiently as possible.

https://www.votebeat.org/texas/2026/...ting-precinct/

Democrats are also worried that voters who show up at the wrong polling location on Election Day may be turned away without casting a ballot. Although a voter can ask to cast a provisional ballot if their name is not on the precinct’s voter list, if it’s found to have been cast at the wrong voting location, it won’t ultimately be tallied.

Using assigned precincts requires, in some cases, twice as many polling locations as countywide voting. Each polling place has to be staffed with workers and furnished with materials and equipment. Texas law requires each polling location to have a minimum of three election workers, who must be paid at least $12 per hour.

Party and county officials say it’s difficult to find enough election workers and enough polling locations that comply with security and accessibility requirements.

Although some public buildings are free to use, they’re not always available, which requires leasing of spaces, at an additional cost.

The countywide polling place program eased some of those costs by allowing officials to use fewer, and more centralized locations, while offering voters flexibility on where to cast ballots

Offering voters “flexibility on where to cast ballots“ sounds like an invitation to fraud.

Texas requires voter id and voter registration before voting. How exactly does the location they vote from have anything to do with fraud?

Sounds like a bunch of baloney to me.
