BTW, I remember ABC Wide World of Sports posting some special of events it covered and the people there. They had that guy in the audience stand up and take a bow.

yep it was ABC Wide World of Sports here's the intro
Vonn already has gold metals and world titles. even with a brace it was too soon after that unfortunate ACL injury for her to have a real chance to compete and win. without the injury she'd just won a competition and could have won. now she has a broken leg on top of the knee injury. she should have withdrawn.
