Pimp???

Please excuse my naïveté. Upon reading a few posts I have come to realize that having a pimp is not something that is well received. Why is this?

In alot of cases where you have a pimp involved the more likely you will encounter some sort of scam or hustle. Not all are like this but for the most part they are scum and shed a bad light on the hobby. Those that do it well u will never know they are around and take good care of their ladies.

Pimps are pretty much viewed as leeches. And make it less likely the girl is in this biz of her own free will. You hear tales of abuse...and what RHRR said.

A pimp lives off what he TAKES from the girl. He provides very little - sometimes "safety", sometimes he brokers the encounter.
But it still comes do to the woman doing most if not all the "work" and the (aptly put, footLong) leech takes most and perhaps all the financial remuneration.
As was said it also raises the likelihood of unpleasant encvounters, drugs, scams, etc.
I hate pimps!

Pimps, so annoying! I have never had one and I will never have one! Being from Vegas, I know girls that have one, actually, most of the girls that work the carpet, have pimps. From what I have seen, they do not do sh***! They sit on their A** and do nothing every night! I do not understand how women who are perfectly able to do this business on their own, at the end of the night, hand off their hard earned cash to some lazy pathetic F***!!! The only work those F**** do is run their mouth EVERY NIGHT looking for women that they can run game on! Can someone tell me, what is the benefit of having a pimp? I am not even in Vegas and still get calls from them, trying to run game on me, so stupid, but a sign of true intelligence...NOT!!! I posted the number in Vegas alerts section. Hell maybe I should go out and get girls to work for me, lol, Ill do all their posting, all their scheduling, and all their screening and I wont take all of their money at the end of the night..maybe when I am 70 ha ha

...and that, in addition to 'protection' - from anyone other than himself - is what the pimp 'sells' to a timid girl starting out unsure of herself, looking for someone strong to tell her what to do. Once she is under his control, he keeps her dependent and makes it hard for her to escape.

M-kat, i think all the points made were right on & cover the LACK of appeal a provider has with a pimp. i think also a provider who has a pimp is subject to control & manipulation from him... i prefer a provider who is a confident & self assured person, just my opinion.

Pimps are so full of crap! This is how they get their ladies, they find a lady and befriend her. they get to know these ladies and find out what their life goals and dreams are. Once they have the knowledge of what these ladies want out of life, they come up with a business proposition to sell these dreams to these ladies and most of the time the ladies fall in love with these guys! They tell the ladies when to go out, how long to be out, and tell them not to come home broke! If a lady goes out and goes home broke, they get the hell beat out of them! I mean these lady's go out and walk and talk for hours and hours..hard work..and they hand their money off to these guys. I know one girl that would not go home one night because she made nothing she cried and cried and freaked out. I asked her why she would want to stay in her situation, she told me that she was in love with the guy and he had promised to marry here in two years and that she could have children and a house, the american dream type thing! I know that he is full of crap, but, she believes in him and refuses to leave. She also mentioned to me that she was meant to die by his hand!!! So crazy but true story.

As everyone has said the "pimp" description carries with it certain bad vibes. Think, drugs, abuse, violence, taking money away from the providers etc. I actually think it is the first three rather than the last one. It also involves seeing the person to some extent.

There is a thin line. Most guys will raise up in arms if they think there is a pimp involved but have no issues seeing agency girls who still have to give a cut of their action to the agency. Guys will probably reply with how the agency is different but in reality the differences are basically the same as the difference between Pepsi and Coke.

It happens more often than we like to think, except that most stay behind the scenes. I once had a well reviewed provider who was a favorite of mine come out and tell me she had a pimp for a number of years while i saw her, yet i had no idea. He managed the business side of things, posting ads, booking appointments, etc and she gave him a cut of the money for "his services" as she put it. She said it was her and a few other providers but no one knew about it on the board. Said that it was not jsut his group but others. She said that it made sense for her at the time to have one since she did not know how to do an ad and did not want to use her time being on the board.

Chuck, I don't think it is fair to blanket-say that all agencies are equivalent to a pimp (Coke vs. Pepsi). Case in point, the Victoria's Secret agency. If you say that agency is the same as a pimp, then your idea of a pimp is quite different from mine. But perhaps you are not familiar with that agency and its history.

Have we all seen girls with pimps? Sure. But as long as we don't know it, and don't see any evidence of it, then it is as if there isn't one. In which case it is probably not the classic pimp of which we speak.

Perhaps Coke v. Pepsi was harsh, maybe Coke v. Dr. Pepper? Different taste?

I know what you mean and I know what a "classic" pimp is. But I don't think all the guys go by the "classic" standard of going against pimps. Most just go by the "i want my money to go to the girl" sort of motto, yet some don't have a problem seeing an agency girl (or spa girl) who has to give a cut of her money to the agency.

I just think as long as the girls are not there against their will or are being abused, it should not carry as bad a "vibe" as it usually does. In other words as long as its not the "classic" pimp i'm ok with seeing a girl that is "managed."

I remember my very first and then of course my very last. Never spoke of this until now. I was hardly 18, when one scooped me up and called me his VIP star. (I was the best looking of the bunch) He did in fact promise me the world and taught me the ropes, and yup you know it, I fell for it. I worked at his lingerie studio and acquired a wonderful income... But of course it went to him while telling me it was all for investing in me. He put me up in a beautiful apt soon after so I was still a fish on a hook. Then the nightmare began, I soon realized he had an extra key to "my" place and showed up whenever he wanted. He also had no problem with manipulating me into "seeing" him. At first I thought well every once in a blue moon isn't so bad, I didn't want drama or for him to kick me out so I felt obligated. (stupid me) but soon after, it became almost every night at 3 am during his ***** binges. I hated it. Not too long after I caught on and realized this was by far the worst thing ever I told a girl at the studio what was goin on and that I was planning to leave but not to say anything. Sure enough that evening he showed up and told me to get out. I ended up at the bus stop w trash bags of my belongings. (I hadn't bought my car just yet) he tried to get me to do **** with him but I never did. He was disgusting, married at the time and had a new born. I was just glad that it didn't take long for me to realize this was bad and I knew I was worth better. I'm also glad that I didn't stick around long enough for him to scar me or make a name for the future men and friends in my life. I told myself if I saw him again I'd punch his lights out. ... 3 years later I did!! At the mall. But he was w his son ( that newborn ) so I remained classy and walked by and stared him down. He looked like he had seen a ghost. I definitely got the girl back for tatting me out in the first place. But that's another story.


Bottom line, I despise pimps and men like him. I will spit on people like that who emotionally, mentally, physically and verbally take advantage of and abuse naive young women. I've def learned my lesson.
