Long Live Looney Tunes, and why they are being censored.

OK, I was going to post this in Bams LT thread, but, I felt it was off topic.

Why exactly are Looney Tunes censored?

My post in italics from his thread.

"Fudd" has become the nickname for Hunters that don't feel the need to have more than a double barrel shotgun, or to protect the 2nd A.

Boring, uncaring and backwards, amazing how a cartoon character can find a following in the world, having nothing to do with his on screen persona.

I downloaded the entire "Road Runner" series, uncensored for my Grandaughter to watch, when she's old enough to understand what exactly she is seeing, which is woke, DEI censoring of the past works of art.

I mean, if we won't let the kids watch the 3 Stooges, or uncensored cartoons, because it may influence them, what does feeding them political and morally targeted ideas do?

At least you can find the Stooges and record them on streaming, the more protected cartoons, nope, they don't exist unless you find a source, which more and more, is the internet.

Fucking sounds a bit like China.

The next Generation, there will be no memories of Loony Tunes.

The original, uncensored Looney Tunes are still available. You have to make sure they say "Golden Collection", though. I know this because my brother just bought the entire Golden Collection so his kids could see the originals we all grew up with.

I have never intentionally burned a book for political reasons, in fact, I read Farenheit 451 at a prep school summer camp, if you know what that book is.

Also, I have declared myself a Libertarian on here DOZENS of times.

You are making false assumptions.

That said, I have no problem with helping make America great again.

Besides the topic is why are cartoons not being censored, not to criticize either party, but the actual companies doing the censorship.

Good for you. Some of us take the time to look around at the team we spend all our time with. Sadly, if you're hanging out with a bunch of MAGA fascists, well, don't be surprised if people think you're a MAGA fascist.

I don't have time (or the inclination) to go through your posts to determine what brand of MAGA you are this month.

As far as the censorship, I don't have a clue why they do that. Obviously there are some old cartoons like the "censored eleven" that probably don't bring any benefit to folks watching, and tended to be considered racially offensive to decent people.

If fascism means a secure border, lower taxes, keeping men out of women’s sports, merit instead of DEI, deporting illegals, not emboldening criminals, and more then sign me up.
