Disdain for Points

The Firm doesn't necessarily censor my posts or comments. Like any successful conglomerate, The Firm is made up of different personalities. Whereas you will never see any other members of The Firm publicly identify themselves, they do not stifle my individuality. I will say by one word I can have points erased, but I choose not to wield that power. The members of my organization are by far the most powerful brokers of this business in Texas and our tentacles extend beyond the Lone Star State. (Anyone need verified status on Oh2 just reach out and it will be done with just a phone call)

Having said that for the least fortunate I would like to initiate a discussion on points and ultimately the removal of a point system on Eccie period. I know that most members here hate points and don't see a need for adults to be regulated in such fashion. I could get rid of the point system with one phone call , but instead I would like management to hear loud and clear how much most members here hate points and warnings. So less fortunate members please sound off here about points and demand that certain banned members be reinstated immediately!

Please stick to the subject matter at hand which is points. In reference to my disdain for Points I will reluctantly not Rtm your insulting and off topic remark. I would subtly suggest that you do not provoke the ire of The Firm. Sir this is not a thread to correct the exemplary behavior of da hobby. It is only for those who dislike points. I would suggest to all those that Eccie celebrates members who contribute in regards to reviews or those that have such a wealth of information and have an open pm policy. Well at least to those who show proper respek. I see two more folks have been added to no help from Pitroom and also will never ever be considered candidates for The Firm should we decide to relax our membership criteria. Points are always well earned and I consider them a badge of honor.

They clearly exhibit your worthiness to staff as they are a permanent record you can claim with pride.

Thus, the point system should continue, and, I suggest additional guidelines be added, so that even more points can be awarded to worthy recipients.

The problem with your “no rules” policy (because without points that’s what you have) is that the board wasn’t designed for that. Without rules the site would more than likely be shuttered for good.
