Can't produce documents to vote but somehow find all documents needed for free food,housing and heath care.
Required documents at Welfare Offices
Birth certificate
Proof of U.S. citizenship or lawful residence
Proof of income and assets
Proof of address

Since 2005 a Real ID drivers license will do it. Mine is one and many others are too.

EVERYONE has access to those documents. Be they male, female, or whatever. If they're poor, oh so poor, or Elon rich. If they were naturalized but were born on a boat near Vietnam, a tent in the Sudan, or a nifty loft in Quebec City.

This ain't your grandpappy's Democratic Party. You could make a strong argument that Democrats are now more motivated to jump through hoops to vote than Republicans are. When Trump tried to steal the 2020 election, he pissed off a lot of Democrats. Some might have been to lazy to dig out their birth certificates or passports before, but they're not now.

Frankly, I don't believe requiring minimum SAT scores is a good idea. You'd disenfranchise a lot of people. A lot of politicians wouldn't be able to vote. The USA "brand" is bad enough with all the trade agreements we've overturned and all the uncertainty we've injected into the world economic system. How would it look if half our Congress were too dumb to qualify to vote too?

On the other hand, a poll tax sounds like a good idea. Better yet, how about if you get one vote for every dollar you pay in income tax. That would solve the problem of people like Warren Buffet paying less tax than their secretaries! Billionaires would line up to pay more income tax! They'd finally pay their fair share!

Their real issue comes down to some married women don't change their new last name on all documents. So they don't match. This issue should be stream lined for women to make it easier for them to do so.
