Default Good Eats in Pcola?

Hello gentlemen,
I will be in Pensacola for few days and looking for some suggestions on good locally owned restaurants that are delicious. It's been quite a while since I've frequented the area. One of my all time favorite places to go to is J's Bakery in the East Hill area for sweet treats. I get Petit fours here, oh my goodness they are sooo yummy 😋 Also I love a good espresso or dirty Chai tea so also stop by Jitterbug Beverage Company when I'm in East Hill.
Is the Mexican food truck that used to be in a gas station parking lot that's on N Davis Hwy just North i10 still around ?? The elote there is was so good.

Hi, yes the food truck (El Asador) is still there on N Davis and it is still delicious. If you're into Caribbean there is a quaint little spot called Island Kitchen on N New Warrington Road. Of course the Fishing Hole on Brent Lane has excellent seafood chowder and mullet bites...a little on the expensive side but worth it in my opinion. For Hawaiian grill type food you could check out Pounders Grill, also on N Davis (closed on Mondays).

For local hits it is all about how much you want spend. For higher end dinner Agapi and George are always on point. For mid level Aunt Katie’s and McGuires pretty solid. For Lowe end/fast options Mr. Pollo, East Hill Pizza, Taco’s Mexicano, and Sauce Boss burgers are personal favorites. For espresso, Echo coffee is my personal favorite. Needs nothing to taste great.

I've been to Jackson's and it's definitely a favorite I drove from Fort Walton Beach to have dinner there one night. I will definitely have to check out Atlas when I'm back around I love oysters.

Thank you!! I've been to Mcguires in Destin a whole bunch of times and they're always great and the portions are enough for two people or leftovers.
