Drove by the best little hoetel on College a few times.
Looks like shut down or changing hands? My favorite place to play for a long time.

Yes, and also across from Panera, and a block west of the church
Actually that decision was made last year.

The right crew can make the slummiest places look absolutely amazing.

That place used to be SUPER nice, if it is the one I'm thinking of. I hosted several work clients there 10 years ago, it was top notch.

I agree it USED to be nice. Sad how far they let it slide. Don't find many hotels with full kitchens and a fireplace.

By bulldozing it and building new. :-) Probably not feasible with lumber prices at the moment. I'm sure they will be decent, rooms are a little small for a true apartment. No storage, etc.

Apparently the tax benefits ran out on the original or subsequent owners and it was known for what it was...and LE sitting in the parking lot all the time...surprised there were not regular raids of the rotasians that camped out there for several years. Saw a few other independent ladies there, they were amazed at how inexpensive the room rates were. Rooms I visited were always nice and well kept...and as long as you had the buildings figured out, easy to get to the room...

Wonder how many new or used condoms they will find in the rubble?

Funny. But, if they did a camera inspection of the sewer lines, they might see a few...

My apartment complex had the same style tubs. I put a cover over the overflow so the water could go all the way to the top.
