Google voice.... pain in the a@!

Google voice is literally killing me. I have researched other options but nothing seems to provide the same service. Google shut me down AGAIN today. Does anyone have another option they like?

I have two GV accounts, one of those I’ve had for years and years. Both run, simultaneously, on windows, while iOS is one at a time. I also have other phone/text apps.

Issues I have are I can’t copy and paste messages. It’s screen shot or none. I can associate a gmail addy to a GV# but can’t do the opposite! That’s a pisser in my world!! I have had other issues also but so minor don’t remember what they are.

The BIG plus is I can, theoretically, talk and text using 5 different numbers from and to one device (“real” number iPhone). I’ve tested that on two numbers, so realistically, no reason to think I can’t get same results on all 5.

Ms QueenV thinks I’m a tech god! Hardly, but I’d hate to destroy the illusion!

Just now thought of something . . . !

I'm sure I cannot use Facetime with the other numbers. Google Duo, Zoom, whoever else? Hmmmmmm? Have to play with that! Need a playmate for that!


P.S. Can't imagine having so much trouble with GV as to get kicked out. Trying to understand that!

That makes sense BUT if they shut down the numbers why not the GMail too?

I've, apparently, pissed off some Cartel types or something, maybe 3 years back or so. I received a few EXTREMELY violent pix and videos. I'm guessing it was meant as a threat or something. I called the FBI. Got an email from an agent in LA. Gave him my GV# and sent him the videos/pix. Never heard back and have had no repeat texts. I still had the gmail/GV# until two weeks ago when I deleted the GMail account deliberately! That means I "abuse" my GV more than most and have no trouble, except above. And that stopped!!! And there haven't been anybody with badges and guns in suits knocking on my door, flying above in black helicopters and whatnot.
