Contacted her 3weeks ago. Said she had a death in the family and had to go to emporia. Told her to text me back when she got back and we would go from there. Haven’t heard back since?? Guess reliability isn’t her strong point. Oh well another bites the dust

I have had a very taxing month with personal/family issues. I will send you what I owe you the moment that I have it. Brooks I don’t know you nor have I interacted with you, but you should know that the scam you and others are pulling on us men is causing irreparable damage to not only your reputation but other legitimate providers and hobbying as a whole. While I wish you the best in getting back on your feet I do hope you pay some consequences here at eccie at the very least.

I didnt pull a scam. Trust me if I was attempting to get over on someone it wouldnt be done with my account. Why would i jeopardize my sole source in the community.
I MADE A MISTAKE AND I AM RECTIFYING THE SITUATION AS SOON AS EVERYONE REMEMBERS THEY TOO ARE HUMAN BEINGS AND HAVE MADE MISTAKES. Everyone has been so focused about giving their opinion openly everywhere that it is impossible for me to make the situation right.

So here is my question to you - if this was not intentional why did you not immediately refund the deposit given to you? You apparently spent it if you are currently not able to return it now.

I do not want to be out of line. I have seen brook and she was always above rapport. I am familiar with her RL and what was going on at the time. While I agree she should have been more transparent with Birddog. I don't think it was out of malice but circumstance.

She is a great woman who has always been fair to me. Kind hearted and provides a great service.

While I and others may appreciate your input, I think its important to understand that none of these things happen in a vacuum. The current trend of deposits, and extreme personal screening and the scams that are involved with some of this activity, have cast a shadow over interactions between the sexes. While the ladies are of course concerned with their safety, so are the gents, and there have been too many cases of deposits not delivered on, etc... that the gents are wary and with good reason. Any misstep by a lady right now will certainly draw extra scrutiny and distrust. These are the current dynamics of the hobby....
