I am new here. I just got private message from "sweetyuri" advertising her provider services. Looks like she has 0 posts. I think it she might be just messaging random people in Dallas.

Is it common to get these type of private message here? Should I actually respond to her?

No, its not normal. Could be considered spam which is prohibited

I'd suggest you use the Report to Moderator button (that small yellow triangle under the box that contains your name) to submit the user's PM to the staff for review BUT if I were to do that then some whacko might tell me to stop being a troll and quit being so helpful or acting like I should get paid for posting helpful things like that.

So I won't bother to educate you about the RTM button for stuff like that.

I will admit I was actually thinking about contacting that girl since her pic looked good and her rate so darn cheap. Too bad!
