Yep, it's a common scam.

It's not the worst scam out there.

There's one involving subjects I'm pretty sure are forbidden topics out there too that is even worse.

I called her and she said she wanted to be paid with a green dot card. I then cancelled my visit with her.

Just like the IRS will never call you on the phone to tell you that you owe them back taxes, a legitimate provider will never ask for prepaid card numbers over the phone.
