Democratic efforts on the Federal Election Commission to punish media and stifle voices like the Drudge Report and Fox are going “underground” after failing in public, according to the agency’s outgoing defender of media and digital outlets.

“The debate has gone underground, it has not ceased,” said Lee Goodman, who fought off several attempts to stifle outlets like Fox, Drudge and conservative media including film makers.

the media, however, does need some regulation in the area of campaign finance laws.

they should be guilty of collusion with the democratic party. the free PR they promote on behalf of the democratic party is worth millions.

Again, the MSM is controlled by the Democratic Party. On NBC, CBS, and ABC just follow their national news stories for a few weeks. They are 90% similar in content and placement. They are getting their stories and story priorities from the DNC and democratically controlled news sources and media management services such as Media Matters.

When a solid 70% or so of the lame stream media is related in some way (marriage, brother/sister) to members of the DNC, of course they are the propaganda wing of the DNC!

The idea of free speech anywhere you go is not reality. The reality is that only the government is prohibited from infringing on the right to free speech. Individuals, corporations, organizations, all of which are not a part of government or funded by government can control speech any way they want. The internet is no different.

Gnad had it right. The media is controlled by the audience because of the advertising. Advertisers target their audience and buy time according to region, day, and time. The media speaks to that audience to keep up the "numbers" to maintain the ad traffic.

A good off topic example is the NFL: listening to the anti-Trump media and ignoring the audience.

NFL started losing audiences and so did the media. Advertisers started pulling ads.

Actually there is more than one conservative television network.

There are also a lot of conservative radio stations, which are easier for conservatives because they can be driving to their jobs and listening at the same time. Instead of sitting on their lazy asses and watching TV .... like parrots do.
