Backpage changes?

Noticed a trend over the last couple days of ads now only have a phone number and pictures. Just wondering if this was some kind of change to how the site works? Some of us depend on the fake ages and fake promises of good service .

I don't know about that, but I do know Backpage has Limited there adds to 140 characters or less. And you can only put an ad up if you link it to a social media account.

Yes they changed it only phone numbers as titles (I have had to change my title yet just been renewing the same ones) and all ads have to have some social media linked

I think most of the ads that have been there for a long time are kind of grandfathered in the way they are. But if you go to change something then it makes you change the whole thing. I don't know what their objective is, but it kind of sucks.

It's only your cell # and a social media link. I posted my Baton Rouge ad last night and the only option was my # and my FB link and that's it.

My guess is the end is near for BP

I have a feeling that backpage adult section will close within six months.Way too many people lobbing to close it. The end of the rainbow is near. They are making the last bit of money to be had. Too bad the owner had to harbor under age girls in his home. SMH.

I know it's a crying shame, but it's changing so much to where pretty soon you will only be able to post a phone number and nothing else.

Backpage held out and made it through first rounds of attacks but it seems the end is nearing. Has anyone heard anything on the internet clampdown supposed to be voted on I think in Jan? If it passes people are saying all adult sites ,porn exc...will be shut down???

Sites won’t be shut down but you’ll have to pay more for access to certain streaming speeds if I’m correct.
