Couldn’t agree more Heidi. Active forums make everyone want to come check for new threads and therefore make them more likely to be active themselves.
A lot of us are newer johns. Meaning we are a little lost as far as what’s available. I’ll be the first to tell you, every time I see a provider I don’t know post, as long as they arent complete bitches in their post, I’m checking out their showcase.... and then possibly their reviews.... and then sending an IM if I’m interested. None of which would have happened if they hadn’t posted.
Also there is more of a personality associated with your name when you interact more. Familiarity as well, which is the ultimate weapon against awkwardness. And this is a hobby where awkwardness is the enemy.
Thanks for posting this Heidi. I’m a bit of a message board junkie anyway so I’d love to see this place more active.
