				 Mood Music

What do you listen to when you're setting the mood to play?
Right now I'm stuck on Norah Jones, Melody Gardot, Nina Simone, Etta James, etc.

And I especially love this song by Leela James. It's a remake by Sam Cooke (1964) but she's amazing.

Ginger, soft jazzy music. Sounds like you are on the right track to me. Dianna Krall fits well in that mix as well.

This is a great topic! Although I can get my freak on to just about anything, I love listening to The Weeknd during play time. I also love any of the pop songs they used to play for me at the club like Talking Body by Tove Lo and Buttons by The Pussycat Dolls.

With Vannah on Tove Lo, Chainsmokers, black eyed peas, cranberries, Katie Perry (E.T. Song), lady Gaga and some Pink and a splash of Lorde music all the way to Bush, and Rob Zombie upon completion! A good mix of sultry slow sensual mixed in with passionate fast moods and finish with something hard and bold.

You had me at Rob Zombie!!! I love White Zombie Thunderkiss 65. I love music that makes me feel like a real bad girl when Im in that "kinda mood" Panterra , Type O Negative, ......
Then when Im in the mood for some slow time consuming love making you cant beat USHER (You Got it Bad and Burn) RKelly (Step in the Name of Love)I could go on and on. Great Topic Ginger!!

I like to start with the slow jazz.I'm a classic rock guy so maybe move to some journey or foreigner. When the action really gets going go to some white snake, guns and roses, skynard. Something with a good beat. Then back to the slow jazz for after.
