Oh wow, so yeah, there are tons of bad behavior out there but this is a real douche-bag move and one that would get someone blacklisted on a serious level.

Sneaking in the back door after being told Anal is off limits and
Groping when someone just walks in the door before the business end of things is conducted.

Honestly, I feel like if a guy doesn't know what is considered "bad behavior", he shouldn't be hobbying. To me, most things are common sense. If a provider says she doesn't do certain things, it means don't ask/beg her to do them, & don't try to get over on her & force her to do them. Haggling rates is very disrespectful. It's offensive to have bad hygiene when meeting a lady, especially when we're expected to look & smell our best.

Kat, it's interesting that you say that - and I agree with everything that you said. I'm curious, what would you say is the average age group of 'hobbyists?' I mean, I know, there are probably guys on here from 20 to 80 and everywhere in between. But, talking to 'civilian' girls that are younger, it appears that at some point guys completely lost the thread of how to treat a woman, either in or out of the bedroom. The younger women I talk to say that any guy under 30 doesn't even understand the concept of taking a woman out on a date, much less the other niceties. Again, just curious if this is something that's mirrored in the hobby world.

I was just talking to someone about this the other day. I've been in this hobby almost 5 years now. In the beginning (back in 2012-2013) a majority of the gents who saw me ranged 40 up to 70 years old. Within the past year, I've been contacted by a lot of gents under the age of 35, youngest being 23. I would say today my clientele base is between 30-50 years old. I don't think a gent's age has anything to do with how he treats a woman rather than it being who he is as a person.

I want to contrast your comment that I've quoted (and I've had same convo with gals) with what I used to see in the hospitality industry. Frankly, it should be no surprise that tossing azzhole civies out of hotels is a centuries long practice. I mention this cause 99% of the time it's younger guys, some drunk, some not.
My point being that that a fair amount of younger guys don't understand, or did not learn at a younger age, the concepts related to the various forms of etiquette that apply in any setting. Dates (civie or hobby professional), or how to handle themselves in the business real world. They end up learning the hard way over time. Those that have learned applicable etiquette when younger, do well.
As Kat mentions: ..."being who he is as a person".

Back to JR's question about bad behavior:
Betraying the confidence of a hobby friend is a huge thing.
Interestingly, this applies with friends in the RW as well.

I think it has more to do with experience then age. I remember when I first started in the hobby I didn't know how, or if I could ask for something. Most of the time I didn't even ask for something because I thought it'd would be rude to ask. The longer you go in the hobby and learn the "not taught" rules, the better. It's the bad thing about this hobby, ain't no hobby for dummies out there.

But now being experienced I know it's all about consent. If she says I can do something than it's all good, if she says no, then I'm a POS if I do it.

And when we get behind close doors I can ask anything. But I must respect her when she says no.

Imo anything ungentle man like in hobby or rw towards a lady is the worst. many people and i have seen it many times. some guys think that because this is what a lady does to earn her living that they can treat them poorly. like earlier stated its all how one was raised that being said much of the younger generation has no work ethic either! they think that a hustle is work whether it be robbing stealing or d**ling a lot of young people think the thug life is where its at and that also many times correlates how they treat women!

I think it all depends on the attitude one has about the hobby in general, regardless of age...

Those that appreciate the time and companionship offered by a woman they regard as a provider/courtesan are much more likely to conduct themselves as gentlemen and respect boundaries. This over those who just want the get-down offered by a woman they regard as a hooker and offer little respect over their selfish wants.

I would say the top 3 in my mind worst behaviors would be those that:
1. haggle donations to no end
2. exercise threats like outing to manipulate for their personal gain.
3. don't respect personal boundaries, cbj, greek, cim, etc

But I must say 80% is surprising to me and bolsters a little more faith in our hobby community. I thought it would be lower.

Over the years, I've noticed a great change how a guy treats & talks to an escort, especially online. I can say 80% of the gents I've seen over the years have been respectful, because when I screen, I don't just check references. I also look at the stuff he's posted, how he writes his reviews & the way he talked to me when he contacted me. If I don't like how he talks, I won't see him. You can't pay me enough money to get disrespected. There's been times I've thoroughly screened a guy & he turned out to be a douche canoe in person, but that's very few & far between. Imho, I think more & more guys are getting the mentality since they're paying for our companionship, it's totally acceptable to talk to us any kind of way & we must do whatever they want to make them happy. Yes, we are escorts & our jobs are to give you a great time, but if it's not something we enjoy doing, it's not going to be an enjoyable time for you or the woman. But like someone once said, this behavior comes with the territory, it's up to you how you choose to deal with it.

So to be a blunt asshole I think the kids these days routine tends to be B.S.

There may be fewer "gentlemen", but behaviors that were considered OK 20,30, 40 years ago are fading away because of the newer generations. It makes me want to pull my hair out when I see these comments because while guys might be less likely to hold the door for a woman (she is his equal after all), he is also much less likely to keep quite about domestic violence etc. The good old days may have been more polite in some ways, but they allowed people to treat other people like shit and no one would do anything about it. And while the older generations seem to adjust to the newer society rules fairly well, lets be honest and give credit to the younger generations for pushing equal treatment as a whole.

There are shitty people of all ages, but the younger generations traditionally push for equality more and more. They shove the worst of our societies norms to the fringes and hopefully to extinction.
