Default Carson a compendium of anti-knowledge ...

Interesting read from Bill Moyers' site.

Especially since we're on The eve of Halloween.

Carson isn't simply a liar, but is also just plain NUTS.

http://billmoyers.com/2015/10/29/the...nti-knowledge/

Fifty years ago, if a person did not know who the prime minister of Great Britain was, what the conflict in Vietnam was about, or the barest rudiments of how a nuclear reaction worked, he would shrug his shoulders and move on. And if he didn’t bother to know those things, he was in all likelihood politically apathetic and confined his passionate arguing to topics like sports or the attributes of the opposite sex.

There were exceptions, like the Birchers’ theory that fluoridation was a monstrous communist conspiracy, but they were mostly confined to the fringes. Certainly, political candidates with national aspirations steered clear of such balderdash.

At present, however, a person can be blissfully ignorant of how to locate Kenya on a map, but know to a metaphysical certitude that Barack Obama was born there, because he learned it from Fox News. Likewise, he can be unable to differentiate a species from a phylum but be confident from viewing the 700 Club that evolution is “politically correct” hooey and that the earth is 6,000 years old.

And he may never have read the Constitution and have no clue about the Commerce Clause, but believe with an angry righteousness that the Affordable Care Act is unconstitutional.

This brings us inevitably to celebrity presidential candidate Ben Carson. The man is anti-knowledge incarnated, a walking compendium of every imbecility ever uttered during the last three decades. Obamacare is worse than chattel slavery. Women who have abortions are like slave owners. If Jews had firearms they could have stopped the Holocaust (author’s note: they obtained at least some weapons during the Warsaw Ghetto rising, and no, it didn’t). Victims of a mass shooting in Oregon enabled their own deaths by their behavior. And so on, ad nauseam.

It is highly revealing that, according to a Bloomberg/Des Moines Register poll of likely Republican caucus attendees, the stolid Iowa burghers liked Carson all the more for such moronic utterances. And sure enough, the New York Times tells us that Carson has pulled ahead of Donald Trump in a national poll of Republican voters. Apparently, Trump was just not crazy enough for their tastes.

No comment on the content, LLIDiot? Do you share Carson's beliefs?

Oh yeah, Carson is a fucking loon because I'm a racist.

Another brilliant comment!

Obviously spends too much time at his job trying to have the most posts on eccie. Unfortunately that time is spent writing nonsense.
Can only hope that our tax dollars are not being wasted.

We have lost the dividing line between knowing something as fact and believing something to be true. The latter is winning out, unfortunately.

Because you can't refute any of what was said, troll cocksucker. Carson IS nuts and he DOES say some very outrageous, easily refutable bullshit.

You mean like you won't be able to keep the doctor and insurance you want?

Since Carson knows what a brain is, where to find it, and how to fix it, he certainly has a "leg up' on the joke you helped get into the White House the last two cycles, who can't find his ass with both hands ... and can fuck up a solid iron ball in a second.

There's only one reason you two newbies think Carson is crazy, you together aren't smart enough to figure out what he is saying .... you've been lulled by the ..... joke you helped get into the White House the last two cycles.

But I understand .... you don't want just a Black man in the White House ...

.. you want a dumb one.

Is that why you want Hellarious in there ....

... The First Female President ..... (but make sure she's not bright?)

You would know.

That reminds me, according to you isn't Gov Abbott supposed to be insane by now? Didn't you have inside info the meds he was taking would affect him mentally?

This is a feeble attempt to hold on to your DotY title. You are going to have to up the quality and number of posts in order to keep Wombatraper from taking your title.

Assup, you are a loser's loser.

We stumbled on some truth just now. It is not that they want a black man in the White House, it is that they wanted a pliable black man who could be controlled in the White House. A puppet for the cause. Who's cause? Who has benefited the most from Obama's presidency? The Chinese? Not really, they could have done so much better. The Russians? Putin is going to do what he is going to do no matter who is in the Oval Office. The Muslims.....well, it was Obama who took us out of Iraq with the required troop presence and that gave us ISIS. He also took out Khaddafi who wasn't bothering anyone when he was murdered by Islamists. Why did he do that? According to the emails, pretty much on the advice of Hillary Clinton. Obama refused to attempt a takedown of the Iranian regime or even take a stand during their Arab Spring. Obama ordered the removal of a marine garrison from the Middle East to Australia to combat future Chinese aggression. Obama is giving $150 billion to the Iranians and a green light for a nuke. Add this that it has been leaked out that Obama is willing to take down an Israeli mission to destroy the Iranian nuke program and I think it all adds up. Obama is working to ensure a Muslim world with Sharia law for everyone by removing the biggest impediment to the cause; the United States of America.

Oh, and if you oppose Carson then you're a racist because he is not an Islamist and the only reason you could oppose him (or call him names) is that he is black. On that topic, Carson is a real live American black man who has lived the black experience not this liquid tan black man in the White House who has every advantage and none of the disadvantages. To put a finer point on it, there is no slavery in his family tree unlike Carson. Unless of course, you want to include the slave owning and trading members of the Obama family going back a couple of hundred years. That's another story though.
