David,
Thanks for the question. While slightly off topic to the OP's thread, I will jump in briefly and address the question.
To my knowledge the last talk of a M&G in B/CS was held almost 2 years ago

The B/CS M&G was held, in the Spring of 2013. In spite of the 120 respondents (in the poll linked above), that indicated they would attend, only ONE ECCIE member from BCS attended the M&G held there. All other attendees were from DFW, Houston, Austin and Killeen.
In spite of the turnout, I did not give up, and sought to find the interest in bringing the M&G to Temple.

Of the over 50 respondents who indicated Temple would be good, only ONE ECCIE member from BCS ever attended the 3 M&Gs held in Temple.
At that point, I am finished with my attempts to coordinate any event in the BCS area or the Temple area. I, personally, would never consider attempting one in Waco.
The Killeen area Meet and Greets (and Poke Her games) have been great events and widely attended, both those events held in public forums, as well as those held in a private forum.
We have always had a full house. We get members from B/CS willing to drive the 2 hours to Killeen to come, we get members from 2.5 hours away in DFW as well as 2.5 hours away in San Antonio and the 1 hour drivers from Austin and the 30 minute drivers from Temple.
The attendance has always been high. and the ratio of men/women has always been good. We get new faces through here each event and everyone seems to genuinely enjoy themselves.
We get new members, seasoned veterans, current and former moderators, UTR members and frequent posters alike.
I can think of no reason, to change any of that.
That being said, nothing prevents B/CS from setting up their own M&G.
However, from having talked to the following members, I do know this: CK1942, OldSarge, JustTheresa and Aria LeMonde will have nothing to do with organizing an event in BCS anytime soon.
I am sure if you send a PM to JustTheresa69, you can be included on the next Poke Her game on the 18th. I also know a BCS member who attends who has offered to give any of the BCS gents a ride to and from the game, should they want one.
Respectfully,
OldSarge
