A loss in our family and sharing a need....

I am truly saddened when a parent loses a child. There is no greater tragedy or heartbreak in my experience.
A member of our local ECCIE family has recently lost her son.
Adding insult to injury is the fact that she has yet to see his remains, nor does she have the funds to cover his cremation.
OldSarge has confirmed the facts in this case.
I am coordinating the efforts to help raise the $1,400 needed to cover the final expenses.
Should anyone feel the desire to help out, please let me know. I will keep your donation and involvement discrete and anonymous (unless you specifically request acknowledgement).
I can accept funds via cash, check, green dot or money order. Alternately, should you desire to donate directly to the funeral home, I will provide the info to do so via PM (I am setting up an account named “justtheresa” at the home, so as to keep the anonymity of the deceased and his mother.)
