Giving out Personal info such as name of company employed by

I am curious if this is standard practice. Do people really give their real info.

I was being screened by a provider and she asked standard screening questions such as name, race, age but then she asked for the name of my company. I thought that was odd and ended the conversation. I can understand asking for references but asking for my personal information seemed to cross the line.

She is on ECCIE and has 2 reviews. I explained to her that I do not know any of her personal info so why would I connect this to my personal life. She said it's part of her screening process and that majority of guys give her the info.

I imagine I will get attacked as usual but any positive input wold be appreciated.

I have had that question before. I am self employed so for me its a non-issue. If I worked for some one I would be very apprehensive about answering that question. It would also depend on the lady & what her rep was in the hobby. Two reviews would not be enough & I would not give her the information.

To me there is no reason to give that info. I would never do it.
If references from verified providers are not enough for her then I would just move on to the next lady.

When I was a newbie I didn't have many other options so with one well respected provider I gave my employment info, but after that I won't give anything. I could have seen someone who had less restrictions in screening but to me that was a greater risk. If a girl insists on that info now that I am well established she is actually insisting that I don't see her.

I will also say that the girls that I have come across that ask for that info or pictures tend to back off of the requitement and also tend not to follow through with references.

My thought exactly. Why would I give out my info I told her that is blackmail type info. She could ruin my reputation with that information.

If I worked for some one I would be very apprehensive about answering that question. I would be more than apprehensive. It is scary what people will do.
It would also depend on the lady & what her rep was in the hobby. There is no lady that I could see giving my info to. What happens if her info falls into the wrong hands like LE?
Two reviews would not be enough & I would not give her the information.

This is what got me...only 2 reviews. She stated about how well established she was and my info would be safe with her. She tried to make me seem as if I had the issue. She told me to research who I am contacting...I did and no where does it say I am going to have to give you my bank account, address, job name and ssn.

I had a lady ask that (may have even been the same lady) and I balked at giving her the specifics. I did, however, give her a very general description of my employment (i.e. car salesman or stockbroker or self-employed in window cleaning, etc.), and that seemed to appease her, for whatever reason.

I know of several ladies who ask for work info. It is pretty common, although I do not agree with it and would never ask for that information, I can not criticize it because if it makes the lady feel more comfortable, and some men are willing to give that info then that's fine if that works for them.
But for me personally I feel like the men's personal life or work is not at all my business and in fact I would rather not know. All I need to know is if you are safe or not. I'm sure I will be criticized by some for my view on that, but I have been a working girl over 6 years and have never asked for any real life info and have never had an issue.

Credit card numbers and PIN numbers
Employer
Your position at work
Address and phone number at work
Name of supervisor at work
Copies of keys to your home and work

When we receive all of the above we will be happy so send someone over to fuck you in the ass with no lube.

After the above attempt at humor, I have decided to tell the real story because I am really angry at Dahila Urban. She was contacted over the forth of July weekend about a possible appointment. She said yes, and then demanded that she had to call through employers phone, and not my cell phone, she knew I was at work over the holiday. It happened that all phones were forwarded to an answering service.

But then I thought, what the hell: she wants to know the name of my employer and the employer phone number.

Forget it. I called Kaylen. No problem and a good time.

Please remember, it is not just men who have legitimate and completely understandable concerns about their discretion who do not want to provide any information to providers. Predators also seek out women who ask no questions as well.

JR - As has been discussed ad nauseam, guys have the freedom to choose who they want to see, and ladies have the freedom to choose their selection methods (if any) for who they will see. Period.

I just clicked the "Search Providers" button at the top of the page. There are currently 128 providers advertising with Kansas City as a location.

Pick one of the other one hundred twenty-one providers that you think will meet your screening request criteria and move on!

We all hobby with in our own comfort zones... if you don't feel comfortable giving out the information then don't give it and move along.

Bottom line is to always, no matter what, follow your gut instinct... its better to follow it and be wrong a thousand times then not follow it and be right just once.

As for giving out my employment info... to the girl with only 2 reviews... most likely not.
Some of the ladies that are on JR's list, I would not have a problem with giving them that info at all, but then they have already passed my screening process.

As client I have a wealth of information at my disposal so that by the time that I contact a girl I already feel that I know her intimately.
Now what took a little bit for me to realize was that when contacting them... they don't really know crap about me.
