I am truly saddened by how pathetic some have become. To see the remnants clung to by former contestants in all our ad hoc 'quick wit gymnastics' forced to resort to the cheapest, most overutilized, cliche defense is pathetic. The point of Eccie is to share information about the hobby. Not all providers will like that, especially the ones who provide lousy service or run outright scams. (Back in the day when I set up a board on Delphi in Austin, I got threats from a local pimp who ran scams. Free exchange of information makes the hobby better for everyone who's honestly participating, and worse for those who aren't.) And providers who don't want to interact with clients outside of sessions wouldn't want to participate in a place like Eccie no matter how it was run. I don't see a situation that needs fixing.

Val, without a doubt, you're one of the sharpest businesswomen I've run across in the hobby. Sadly, many providers don't share your acumen. I remember your getting attacked here; it was ridiculous.

I think the decision to suck up to Wakeup was brilliant. A little carefully targeted attention, and our resident bad dog dotes over you like a little pup, and all his followers fell into line. And Wakeup still eats it up - every time I see your photo on his avatar, I tip my hat to you.

The 'N-Bomb' is still just a few letters placed together to make a particular sound when pronounced. That is what makes a word, right? (In general terms) That word is offensive because of the way it was used and what it came to represent, not because the word itself inherited a priori offensiveness. I would say a group of adults could agree when other terms are being used for derogatory and hateful intent. We seem to be past admitting the intent behind the terms in question. Your point is just a question of scale. So, that question you are correct.

This seems to be a bit of a conspiracy theory for some, so to speak... My tour to Houston was already booked before I arrived, and I didn't actually meet WU until the end of it, so our meeting had zero impact on my business. I will tell you right now that if he and I had never met up and were not friends I would still have business in Houston. He intrigued me, and after spending time with him I was very glad we decided to meet up, and we've been very close ever since. So contrary to what you and others may believe, our friendship isn't based on this board, it rarely ever even gets mentioned when we are hanging out. He's always been there for me through some really difficult times and I still regard him as one of my closest and most trusted friends. He is an amazing person to those whom he cares about, is not hateful, and is a lot of fun to be around actually. Perhaps that's why I have a laugh when I see how upset people on this board get over him, because in my eyes I don't see a mean person at all, (maybe a cheeky smart-ass who likes to fuck with some people ), but that's all.

And I must say the idea of me 'sucking up' to a man, or anyone for that matter, is just plain funny

She is a very beautiful lady on the outside YES. Looks wise, stunning. And I'm sure many have the preggo bump fetish. And to know she is limitless and GOOD at what she does, I definately understand the demand. If I was a guy I would want to hit it! My only issue was posting pics of 500 pound women to make us BBW feel bad. Now that the name calling and insults won't be tollerated from BOTH sides, well then I will follow the rules!

Why didn't you say so from the beginning.......the fix is easy

Make the "Top 10" list a "Top 20" list.....or you could create sub-directories of spinner bait, whales and dolphins.....you could go further with the "end of the month cash-n-dash" specialists.

Val, I hear you. I have no idea what your situation is with Wakeup - that's between the two of you. Just keep reminding him that he's a special snowflake, and all will be well. That's all we guys want. LOL. Seriously, it's great when you can make an actual friend in the hobby. It's just tough sometimes to know when you've got a real friend, so I always advise caution.

I think that's one reason I get frustrated when Wakeup starts his antics here. I like the guy in person; he struck me as a good guy, bright, interesting. There's no reason he should be so obsessed with the appearance of providers he's never going to see.

For some of the others, it's more obvious why they're crying for attention.
