Men do have a brotherhood amongst themselves however that women never will. Most women are simply catty, backstabbing, and just jealous in every day life, not even just because of being providers. Men can duke it out and have a fistfight over something, and then shake hands and remain friends. But women...they could never do that. And the fraternity that exists among men in that sense to me is enviable. It's why men always made better friends ( for me anyways) than women.

Exactly... i found that out in the last year.... friendly she was on the board and a downright backstabbing catty insecure.... well u get where im going... behind the scenes.

But i took last year as a learning lesson. I simply dont associate with girls like that and just give a simple Tim Tebow Christian form of Fawk you by saying God Bless You. Its really sad though.. because there are truly some nice ladies out there.. Im learning to just associate with ladies who are secure with themselves and are equally educated.. that has been doing me good since.

As for the men- we have other things to do bcd than to talk about the haters.. but i get calls and emails all the time with them feeling the same way I do. And the ones who stick up for the insecure.. well its like i said before.. When the product is cheap...

I am secure and very confident so I have never seen the need to be catty. Being one of the few that prefers to build real bonds of friendships I understand what this thread is all about. It goes far beyond the hobby into the civvie life. We all have had friends who swore they would give us clothes off their back just to get what they want from you only to turn around and stab you in the back. This is why I have a lot of associates and very few friends. Life is too short not to have a lot of fun

Just because you put "just saying" at the end, doesn't make it true!! The OP previously mentioned that the men "seem to have a brotherhood" and can overcome their differences better than women. So why would she now agree that men "are worse"?? Incidently, I don't think this issue is a gender thing at all, insecure is insecure - either gender is capable - it's just difficult to get everybody to act like an adult in the playground!!

I don't think she meant this as a generalization of all men. It is a fact that just as ALL WOMEN don't participate in vicious gossip, SOME MEN do.

I MUST disagree with this. I don't have a lot of real friends. But, the ones that I DO have, we don't ALWAYS see eye to eye. We have a lot in common and generally share the same values. But, we are different people from different backgrounds who, at times, have different views. We don't agree on everything, and depending on what the subject is we are discussing, sometimes things can get pretty heated. Who says two woman friends can't have a heated discussion/debate/argument and actually GET OVER IT??? At the end of the day, we love, respect, and cherish one another as what we are, TRUE FRIENDS. We understand that we won't always be on the same page. We understand that we are friends above everything else. In my experience, the only women who can't have other women as REAL FRIENDS are the ones who are catty themselves, whether it be in your face catty or behind your back catty.
